Yes... un pa needed ko pci risers... pero wla kong makita sa TPC nun... ung rig, saw that article, 1600psu ata gamit nya 6 7950's... dunno if it'll work on 7970's
Kung nasa Metro Manila ka, pahiramin kita pag kelangan mo na. Meron akong limang x1-to-x16 powered risers.

You'll probably need powered risers too, unless you've found a board that can fit 5 cards without need for risers. Yung setup na nakita ko sa net, 6 cards na lahat nakadikit sa powered risers. Walang nakadikit sa board para well-dissipated yung init. At plastic crate lang ginagamit niya as frame ng MB at cards.

5GPUs are possible with 1500PSU... pero I'll start with 1 GPU muna to check electricity cost as a newbie.. and yes I've read a post in a forum na pwede nga syang i-underclock once na ma-reach ung maximum hashrate by flashing the card
balanghai: Nabili ko yung 7950 for P8,500, at yung 5970 for P9,000. Yung P11k ba sa TPC? If so, nakita ko rin yun, pero hindi ko pinapansin kasi malayo. Kaliwaan lang ginagawa ko kasi nakahuli na ako ng scam sa TPC dati.

The two rigs total 824w x P12/kwh = P237.312/day. But they're not optimal because the 5970 and 5850 have lower efficiencies than the 7950.
thanks for the response bro... pero is it possible to underclock it para bumaba electricity cost?... I will be using 7970 OC (only 1 though)... pero I haven't started mining yet...still waiting for the 1500watt PSU, hoping na magkaroon na ng stock...
Nasa mga 1.8+mh/s pa rin ako ngayon eh. Wala akong mahanap na murang 7950. On 1.8+mh/s, the break-even point is around .036 BTC/day. Unfortunately, in the past 7 days, I only averaged 0.0336. Baka variance lang, kasi may mga araw na nakaka .07+ eh, kaya umabot ng 20% yung last 30 days. Doesn't hurt to try, kasi at worst, Litecoin ang imimina ng pool.
Ah but at least nasa breakeven point pa. Anyway sir how much yung dapat na price ng 7950? is 11k ok na or mahal pa? May nag offer kasi sa akin ng 11k ea.

Bro... how much power cost nyan in a monthly basis... start p lng ksi ako mag-mine... and want to do ALT coins instead of BTC

Try middlecoin. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, but my last 30 days on it was profitable vs. cost by 20%. That, considering there were times I tried other pools (like half a day on nanotokens when it was doing much better than middlecoin, and also a comparison day on multipool).
Sir nagdagdag ka ba ng bagong cards? I currently have 5970 and planning to grab 2 7950s kasi may nag benta. Kaya lang concern ako sa current difficulty and electricity costs. Any opinion?

I've been busy with work and school lately...anyone got the M-O-M of last saturday's meeting? update naman dyan.. 
hindi ako nakapunta eh but i get to hear the news...it's nice to see alot of our kababayans going out there and stepping up...Napoles surrendered from what I've read on the newspaper...I just wish that they get to prosecute those who were responsible for that 10B scam..Hope things get bet better from here..
