You're right. Telegram has on onboarded of persons into crypto starting from notcoin. Other play/tap to earn projects have taken advantage of it and keep launching..for pixelverse, it's been trending lately. Listing date has been announced and it's already on PoolX

Telegram also provided a good platform for crypto startups and airdrops. Pixelverse has an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. Still yet, they prefer to start building their game on Telegram, which is similar to using the TON network.
Plus, I think this PoolX is another good way to get free PixFi, especially if it has a high APR when it launches

In the past, lacking a powerful gaming PC with ample space and RAM would have hindered anyone from gaming. RAM size can heavily impact gaming performance, with enthusiasts typically requiring a minimum of 8GB for acceptable gaming performance, but often finding even better results with 12GB or more.
Even until now, AAA+ games will require you such powerful specs.

However, with the rise of crypto gaming and platforms like Telegram, the gaming landscape has been revolutionized. One example is Pixelverse, a Telegram-based game launching on the TON blockchain with a large community following. Instead of the challenge of slow or lagging computer, a single telegram community could not accommodate Pixelverse users. More than 20 TG groups reach its Max.

True, Pixelverse impressively utilizes Telegram and the secure TON infrastructure to provide a seamless and immersive gaming experience. However, I have concerns about the potential impact on the crypto market with a large community awaiting an airdrop of Pixelverse tokens which a number of exchanges like Bitget have announced listing
They're not the first one to use telegram for an app to be made. There have been a lot of casinos before that have started out there and I guess one of the creators from these games that are being made on telegram's technology have probably seen one and saw the potential of it. As for its tokens, I don't have it and neither played it. If there are exchanges that are willing to support such projects, its community will be maintained because that will be its bread and butter.

Is Telegram contributing to the mass adoption of crypto, or should we consider other perspectives on this matter?
We can't deny that because even just for its own purpose of messaging people. We've seen a lot of crypto communities that have been there but sadly, they've become a place for scammers too.

WOITOKEN Play to Earn NFT Game

Telegram has made more people aware of crypto and even if many people don’t know what crypto is all about, having a basic knowledge about cryptocurrency; they will know that it is another form of money that they can get when they participate in some tasks on telegram, they’ll be airdropped cryptocurrency and they’ll become very rich and wealthy because that was the first narrative they heard about it that lured many of them here. Those that are wise will ask more questions about it, what all this crypto is all about and how true it could be if they can earn that much within a short period of time in understanding crypto and playing telegram games through telegram bots.

behind the increasingly popular telegram game project that occurred, amidst the increasing demand for telegram-based games with the presence of pixelverse many have taken advantage of it, with the launch of pixelverse and made them always want to try new things, by utilizing telegram and tons of infrastructure by offering an easy entrance into the world of cryptocurrency games, it is the best choice for beginners and experienced people to dive into it, but I don't think it will damage Telegram because all Telegram games are hosted on BotFather which allows users to access it comfortably in one application.

You should also be aware that Hamster Kombat has huge followers and players on Telegram, and the platform has managed to accommodate that large number of players too so its not only Pixelverse I'm sure both the development team of Pixelverse and Hamster Kombat have done their study on the capability of Telegram to hold that huge number of users so its a no, no project can break Telgram server.

Its good for the Cryptocurrency community that we have a platform like Telegram for this kind of concept and they manage to hold up that huge number of community.

Telegram has been accommodating over a billion of users on its platform. A random new game won't just break it. Claiming pixelverse, a new game or something could break telegram is plain shilling. I think I have clicked on that game called Pixeltap by Pixelverse through Telegram App center and it was not that impressive. I might have been wrong but there are many popular games with even larger user base like Hamster Kombat.
Furthermore, these games themselves are hosted on the internet. Almost all of their activities are in server and not in blockchain. The limitation is the bandwidth and that can be increased without issue. The test of blockchain occurs when things happen on chain.

Yes it is; Telegram is contributing to the mass adoption of crypto. We can assume a few percents from the montly active tlegram

Source : https://telegram.org/faq

From the picture above, we can assume a few percents from the monthly active users of Telegram are crypto users. You still get millions as numbers of crypto users in telegram, and you can take the rest users in telegram as a potential room for crypto to growth.

It's strange if you still doubt how big Telegram's contribution is to crypto adoption. Moreover, telegram has been one of the most favourite crypto projects social apps. Telegram has been so popular among the crypto users even since a few years ago.

I remember when many projects used telegram to interact with their supporters. This was before Slack, then Discord boomed.

This occurred around 2015 - 2016.

You've got some points here. Meanwhile, I haven't really seen Crypto projects use Slack for their community except just for the team. And the challenges associated with Discord when it has to do with verification is heart aching.

Except for the beauty of a well organized community presented by Discord, I think Telegram still wins. But how Pixelverse community membership max out telegram group membership limit is surprising the level of interest in crypto gaming

Telegram has contributed to crypto since before even without the Telegram games look at how the Telegram bots and most of the people who use Telegram are crypto users.
For the telegram games Ton blockchain is the one who has huge help developing much about telegram, ads and crypto games and I don't think it could break telegram since all games on telegram are a tiny program that is hosted on I think on Botfather it was hosted into a website and then telegram use iframe, embed, and object elements so that the telegram won't use much resource directly from telegram. So I don't think it could break telegram.
