The supply chain process has many stages which require concerned parties to use a collaborative approach throughout its lifecycle. What does token minted mean? 
Minting is also part of mining, when a new block is hashed for the first time in the Bitcoin network it triggers a minting of new coins.
In other words, newly created tokens.
And can the community mine it?
Total supply is 500 M
It can not be mined but we have staking.
