I've heard about such a theory to reduce the Earth's population, but what does Bill Gates have to do with it? Is he the one with this crazy plan? I was expecting it to be one of Elon Musk's crazy plans.

I understand that they want to reduce the number of humans on Earth, but I did not expect it to be by destroying nature. What will they gain from destroying nature, especially natural forests that nature took hundreds or thousands of years to create? It's a completely crazy theory. Who would have the heart to destroy all this beauty?

People are definitely going ot be quite happy to both get rich and also help the world at the same time so this isn't bad idea. But, there are many people who think about the same thing, some say lets do push ups, some say lets donate, some say plant a tree like here. That's not really the way to get people excited about all of this, I think it doesn't make sense to push for something like this at all times.

I understand the desire behind all of this, and I do hope that it gets better. I just think that we should be a little bit more careful. These things could get out of hand, and suddenly we look and there are dozen more stuff that says something about 100k. Let's calm down, and focus on just reaching that price first, then we can check what to do.

Yes we can definitely plant trees on any festival day or any day. I don't know why people don't balance and plant new trees after cutting down trees. They experience floods, droughts and extreme heat without realizing that these are caused by cutting trees. Looking at the current situation, it seems that the government should bring any big trees of the country under the account. The owner of this tree will be the person who planted it. But before cutting the covered tree, the permission of the government must be cut. In this case the government can make some rules. For example - 1 tree should be cut and a quantity of trees should be planted, if a house is built by cutting trees, flowers should be planted on the roof/balcony of that house. In this way, the government can stop the cutting of trees in the country by making some rules.

We humans are after destruction instead of making the world beautiful. We all know how important trees are to us, but we are more interested in cutting trees than planting them. Nice point. I have to agree with this. If we are really determined to help save the planet Earth, planting trees should be done constantly, regardless if our Bitcoin investment turns successful or not. As long as there is eagerness and deep motivation to take part in this planting project, then let's do it without doubt and hesitation. Bitcoin should never act as a signal as to when we're going to plant, although it creates a good challenge for us.

We must plant trees on our own responsibility. It falls within our duty. There is no alternative to planting trees to keep your city, your area, your society healthy and well. I will definitely try to plant the tree as per OP's words. And I will encourage others to plant trees.

Haven't you heard that trees are bad now?  Bill Gates is actually planning to cut down entire forests of trees and then bury the wood to keep other trees from being able to grow there.  Sounds crazy right?  I know.  It is.  That doesn't stop it from being true though.  Bill Gates and his liberal buddies want to cut down on the amount of life on earth by removing CO2 from the atmosphere.  The problem is that if they remove more CO2 then trees will literally start to suffocate and people would notice something is up.  Their solution?  Cut the human population of the earth by 40% and start cutting down forests so people don't notice how bad things are when their landscaping starts suffocating. 

I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory.  I wish it was.  Go down the rabbit hole yourself.

The importance of trees existing within our environment can't be overemphasized as the benefits to humanity can't be quantified. The level of hot weather being experienced in Urban areas are as a result of diminishing trees with rather tall buildings occupying almost every land space.

For those who do travel ones in a while to the rural areas must have had a refreshing difference between the air in urban areas and that of the rural areas, and this is as a result of the existence of many trees and other green plants in existence there.

The initiative of using a new bitcoin ATH in relation to planting trees is an initiative coming at the right time.  As wee live in an era where every individual wants to plant and own a house but not a tree. But at least if you don't have a space of yours to plant a tree then try not to add to the practices which  causes the buildup to the increasing global warming ravishing the world today.

Why are you combining festivals and needs? Festival and need are two different things. I am clarifying the matter through 2 examples-

1. Muslims give food/money to the poor people around their homes during their Eid so that they can enjoy the joy of Eid. Thus they share Eid joy among themselves. That doesn't mean they can't give to the poor on other days of the year. The charity given during Eid is a festive exchange and the charity given on ordinary days of the year is required.

2. Suppose you are an employee. You promised your friends that you will invite them to dinner on the day of your promotion. Later, before your promotion, for some reason you arranged a dawa at your house. Now what prevents you from inviting friends who are committed to the promotion? So what you do on a festival day you can do on other days as well. You must wait for the festival day to arrive.

The importance of trees is immense for our survival and for carrying forward the next generation. We should plant as many trees as possible. This tree helps us the most to keep the next generation and the present generation alive.

It is very hot these days. We can't stand the heat. 45 degrees to 50 degrees and 50 degrees to 60 degrees will not take much time. And remember that Human cannot survive in 60 degree Celsius heat. We have to understand them and plant trees. Plant now, it takes at least six to eight years for a tree to grow. And now it is raining occasionally, so we must plant at least 5 to 6 trees. Plant trees on your own responsibility do not leave everything to others.

Nowadays the number of tree cutting is increasing in our country, it is not only in our country but in every country cutting trees is more than planting trees. We need to stop them, and plant more trees instead of cutting them down.

And it will be great if we keep planting this great work with bitcoin price i.e. planting trees every 1k time. But sometimes it takes some time for bitcoin price to increase by 1k. Again 2-3k increases within a day. So we have to plant trees as the value of Bitcoin increases and not only with the value of Bitcoin but we also have to cultivate the habit of planting trees whenever we see a gap. then we can make our planet healthier than it is now and as beautiful as previous generations.

If we are truly conscious and want to protect our planet, we should plant trees and reduce electricity consumption whenever possible to save the earth from climate change. We don't need to wait for bitcoin to increase in price and break records to start doing that because if bitcoin did not increase in price, we would never plant trees or take action to save the earth?

Like there's a topic about doing charity work if bitcoin hits $100k. If it takes years for bitcoin to reach $100K, will we also postpone our philanthropy? Save the earth as soon as you can because by saving the earth we are saving ourselves and doing charity whenever you can to help others because it will make our world we become a better place.

Planting trees is a good practice. By planting trees we can save the environment. Yes, Bitcoin price increase has nothing to do with tree planting, this challenge is only given to encourage tree planting. You can even encourage others by sharing pics of your planted trees here. You can write on the tree with a banner that you have planted the tree while the value of bitcoins is still there.


Yes, the issues you raise are reasonable. But, if you don't have enough space to plant trees, you can plant flowers. Planting flowers does not take much space. You can create a flower garden on your roof / in your yard. Another good aspect of planting flowers is that flowers can be planted in all seasons. You can also participate in protecting the environment by planting flowers. As the value of Bitcoin increases, you can plant at least one tree with the new value.

Nice idea, but not that much feasible, sadly. There are far too many people who don't have the means to plant a tree. For example you cannot plant trees on other people's land.
Even more, on various climates there are specific seasons/months it makes more sense to plant a tree than others, hence doing this randomly when the price goes up may not be best option.

This being said, I will brag that I've participated this year too (2nd year in a row) to a small tree planting action; I've planted another 10 trees this year. But it was in the spring...

In the area where I live in the rural area of the city, there are still a lot of trees around. The people here take nature preservation very seriously, especially close to the homes where people live.

What you have talked about is really a very important one. The current state of the world climate has threatened our human civilization. Just as the human hand is behind the progress of the human civilization, so the human hand is also behind the threat of the human civilization.
