Your balance is updated by messages sent via a push service. If for any reason that service is delayed, you balance may not update immediately. However, all of your winnings are recorded. What is your username on the app, I will research your account to make sure all is OK.

Not sketchy at all. We allow you to play in the free tournaments and challenges with location services off. However, you won't be able to enter any of the tournaments with an entry fee. This is because in the United States, skill based competitions with entry fees are only allowed in 36 states. In order to comply with regulations, we need location services to show that you are not in one of the other 14 states. Outside the US, it is up to you to make sure skill based competitions with entry fees are legal before entering a tournament or challenge with an entry fee. Hope this explains things.

If the location is UNKNOWN, they have their location services disabled.

The CFLX should have a space in front of it. When the recipient installs the app, we scan (1 time only) his/her SMS / MMS looking for this pattern in the last 50 messages. If we find it, we used the part to identify who referred the new user. The http://[Suspicious link removed]/1D8x0XA part of the link goes to the google play store.

That's exactly right. Using SMS eliminates spammers and scammers. I know that it doesn't allow for the broadest referral program, but unfortunately that's the best we can do right now.

We only use SMS and MMS 1 time when the app is first installed. We look to see if there is a referral code in the most recent 50 messages. This is how we credit a referrer (since the referrer's text message contains the referral code). We do not do anything else with the SMS or MMS permissions.
