I just dominated the default score in Astro n.z.o and it's not showing up, what happened

We need a minimum number of players in the grabbit game before it starts.
For practice games you need at least 2 players.
If the minimum players are in the game, the game will start at the end of the 3 min timer.

I have a feeling that after a while you'll have to compete against tireless bots(I have a feeling that
pacman is very easy for computer to play).
There's other issues like validation. If server doesn't validate your entire game,
then soon it will be like kongregate leaderboard: top will be filled with cheaters.
And though it's possible to filter primitive cheating(just send every pressed key to the server, so server can replay the game and confirm scores), stopping bots is next to impossible.
This is why we can't have nice things... Hehe interesting ...

It would be awesome if there was a traditional highscore mode to play as well as the 2 minute version, nothing like pounding away at your keyboard for 20 minutes to try to be at the top

It's not total score, it's how many points you can earn in 2 minutes. I got well over 10k before I died That's how they getcha
Edit: Thank god the high score isn't on level 3!

It's like going to the arcade back in the day, you put in your 2 coins to play take a sip of your soda then play your heart out to take down the top player on the leaderboard.
In modern times you can do the same thing and win bitcoins. Make it on the leaderboard and win bitcoins when other players fail to beat your score.
Even if you are number 6 on the leaderboard, you'll win bitcoin when other players fail to beat your score.
The top 7 players on the leaderboard are paid out.
