It looks like reward rised 3 times just from first round to second. Congratulation!

But I have question about the final of first round:

Round 1 came to an end about 5 hours after the initial deadline.
...
The game's original pot was 2 ETH and its original deadline was Nov 8th, 11:16:00 UTC. By the end of the game, the pot increased to 2.190125 ETH and the deadline was extended to Nov 8th, 15:14:55 UTC, which is about 5 hours extended from the initial deadline.

Can you explain why original deadline was extended?

The game automatically extends when entries are made near the deadline.

Current Game Stats:
Current Pot Size: 2.45435 ETH (about $459.53 USD)
Total Entries: 46
Current Entry Price: 0.021 ETH - Price increases by 0.005 ETH every 10 entries
This game now rewards the person who enters the most and the last person to enter so there is an advantage to enter the lottery earlier when the cost is still low.

Simple FOMO Round 1 has ended!

The winner (0xc54100fc034d412c21ba92ccf2d916374ac22555) has claimed a pot size of 2.190125 ETH. A more detailed analysis is to come.

I wish the winner has also a bitcointalk account so that he will come forward himself and testify that he indeed won this contest. And I hope he is not a newbie like you. I love this contest and its mechanics, and I also think a lot are also appreciating this but many have some doubts and reservations about how legit this is. A little assurance is needed for them for sure. With that, this will for sure increase the participants.

The legitimacy is confirmed by the smart contract itself. If you look at the previous round, the winner won the game without any foul play. No one bid against him/her therefore he/she won. There is no administrative overhead or oversight. Only trust in Ethereum's EVM is required really.

Simple FOMO
Round 2
Status: Final 24 Hours

Simple FOMO returns in a new round! The rules are slightly different than the previous round. The game is a game theory based lottery that rewards both the last person to enter the lottery and now the person with the most entries when the deadline expires. There will be 2 winners. Each time a person enters the game, the deadline is potentially extended based on how close that person is to the deadline. Also, as more people enter the pool, the cost to enter the game increases. For this round, it is advantageous to enter the game earlier as all entries are equal and earlier ones cost less.

The game itself is a smart contract that is ran on the Ethereum blockchain therefore it cannot be changed or manipulated by the creator of the contract. Any and all transactions to the contract are publicly viewable. There is no house advantage.

The initial pot size is 2 ETH.

The initial cost to enter is 0.001 ETH.

The initial deadline is Nov 16th, 2019 14:10:54 UTC.

Less than 1 hour remains before the last player wins 2.00585 ETH

I hope you don't disappear with collected money.  Grin

But ok, now seriously, I would like to know how you want to prove who won and that it is not you?

The benefit for Ethereum smart contract games is that there is no mechanism for the contract creator (the house) to have an advantage in the game. I would have to play by the same rules as everyone else with no advantage. This is a smart contract lottery, therefore the players are anonymous. The winner of the game would have to come forward for us to know who he/she is. Probably the best way you can try to check it yourself would be to follow the transaction history of the winning address.

So you want to say that your lottery differs from the normal ones in that you pay out prizes out of your own pocket?

Round 1 came to an end about 5 hours after the initial deadline.

Here is the game contract on Etherscan:
https://etherscan.io/address/0xa5a9B6a783D17C15822D3e70dbb1E59D736284eF

The game's original pot was 2 ETH and its original deadline was Nov 8th, 11:16:00 UTC. By the end of the game, the pot increased to 2.190125 ETH and the deadline was extended to Nov 8th, 15:14:55 UTC, which is about 5 hours extended from the initial deadline. The winning address: 0xc54100fc034d412c21ba92ccf2d916374ac22555 put about 0.096 ETH into the game throughout various entries to be eventually rewarded by a 2.094125 ETH profit. Initially this player had competition mostly from address: 0xB74D5f0a81Ce99aC1857133E489bC2b4954935fF, who almost won the pot earlier but another player entered in the last minute which prevented that. 0xB74D5f0a81Ce99aC1857133E489bC2b4954935fF then stopped participating the game.

After a few hours, no one else bid against the winner leaving that person holding the entire pot. Possible reasons for this could be that potential entrants have been burned by similar games in the past and decided to skip or that they felt they had no chance against a person potentially using a bot. Those who had entered only to be beat shortly after entering may have felt a sense of what is the point and decided to forego the next time. All in all, the winner of this game had more determination to win than others playing thus reaping the reward.

Based on the high interest, Round 2 is coming soon.

Simple FOMO
Round 1
Status: Final 24 Hours

Simple FOMO is a new game theory based lottery that rewards the last person to enter the lottery with the entire pot when the deadline expires. Each time a person enters the game, the deadline is potentially extended based on how close that person is to the deadline. Also, as more people enter the pool, the cost to enter the game increases. The entire game is ran on a publicly viewable trust-less smart contract.

The initial pot size is 2 ETH.

The initial cost to enter is 0.001 ETH.

The initial deadline is Nov 8th, 2019 11:16:00 UTC.

I have to be honest, I like the rules. They are simple and straight to the point. There are no other complicated mechanics for interested players. But why is this not reaching a wider audience? 0.001 ETH is pretty low already for the chance of winning more than a couple of ETHs. I am interested to join but only if I have all the available time that I want. I don't want to be contributing ETH to other people. Lol. I want to join and win.

Goodluck to Everyone playing at this time. I'll be joining the next round ( if there's any thing). The problem with ETH based dapps games is that people don't trust them anymore. So a lot of us are expecting feedback from people playing the first round. How much is in the lottery pot now?

This game is quite interesting, like to be honest this is still subject to manipulation by the developer because he controls everything here, but I like to see who is going to be the winner and if they can keep this application clean from manipulation, but yes this works like a Ponzi Scheme, but the difference is the one that comes in late is the winner.

I'm going to write a post-game analysis once it ends that should provide details on how the game was played.

here is the explanation kabayan ,i think the entrance fee are safer as the team has nothing in control of the funds.

Automated static analysis was performed to search for vulnerabilities in the contract; however, no third-party audit has been performed due to cost/time issues. I suggest you counsel a coder friend to help you understand the contract so you can make an informed decision to enter. There is no ability for the developer to drain the pot as their only functionality is to change the fee address.

i think i this is cool and will try to participate now lol
