The blockchain gaming industry is still in its infancy, but there are a number of games that have been developed using the Play2Mint & Play2Earn technology.

Some notable examples include CryptoKitties, which has garnered a lot of media attention for being one of the first blockchain games to explode in popularity and seemingly taking the rest of the crypto-gaming community along with it.

With the rise of crypto currencies and blockchain technology, it's not surprising that there are now a few games which offer the option to earn real crypto currency in exchange for your gameplay time.
It will get there though, it will get there. One day we are going to have unreal engine 5 using, vast map, a lot of big details type of situation where every bit of the land is used and owned by people etc type of giant thing. It is not going to be this year, or the next, but "one day" it will happen. That’s what humanity is looking for, an imaginary land, a vast one at that, all of which is owned by the players, no house locked, no land out of bounds, every single bit available and owned.

So, people could have another life and metaverse (and maybe help of VR too) will make that happen eventually one day. When that day comes, it’s going to be a bit of a problem for humanity, because many will try to restart their life there instead.

I don't know if any of this games will be big or will actually earn you some money, but these are some of the games that I am currently playing:

The first one is The Sandbox, it's similar to Minecraft, if you enjoy playing minecraft or you are interested to play it, you will enjoy Sandbox. https://www.sandbox.game/en/

The second game is PirateXPirate if you are bored with all those mmorpg game, and monster theme game, this one will be a fresh game. It's a turn based strategy game with Pirate theme of course, you can build a crew, grow your ship. etc. https://piratexpirate.io/
Sandbox is already big and maybe they can grew more bigger by the time many people got involved in crypto and blockchain gaming but I don't know about the second one, it's new to me although its gameplay is I think much better than sandbox since I don't like minecraft kind of games.

They are pixilated and I don't really know if what is the goal of the game lol but in mmorpg games, you will be given by a certain task which will you complete to get your character much stronger. These two games will obviously provide you by some cash while playing on them because they are called play to earn games anyway but I think some will require you to invest your own money first.

I don't see how this game is graphically intense, it looks like something a hd4000 gpu can handle very well at a higher resolution like a 1080p display, you can't compare this game to the graphic details of illuvium, Undeadblock looks like a 2012 graphic design game.
It's not only undeadblock but whole of blockchain gamings are still using old render just like ps2 graphic. I never seen any HD gaming that was using the new engine. There are some maybe exist but mostly of the blockchain games are still using old engine without thinking to adopt the new graphic.

There are a lot of P2E games out there, it depends on your preference.
If you are looking for FPS kind of project, Undeadblock might be suitable for you. Not only do they have a good community and development, but they are also running on a good platform IMMUTABLE X. The game is similar to left4dead, we are shooting zombies and getting their native token through it.

If you are into strategy and turn-based games, you can try Splinterlands, GodUnchained, and Skyweaver. They have been in here for years and they never stop developing their project.

Undeadblock is an interesting game, but quite resource-intensive. Not every PC will be able to run it  Sad

I looked at the reviews, very little reward. I see no point in spending a lot of time to earn $20. Maybe in a bull market the situation will be more profitable for the players, but participation in the game is not a guarantee for receiving rewards.

Well, I like how this game looks. I played some zombie survival games before and this game reminded me of that, so I think I will try it... I am the type of person that will spend a lot of time playing some games because I enjoy the game and if I earn some money meanwhile even better!

Wanted to download and try it, which leads me to Wagyu "Wagyu Games is leading the charge on Kill-To-Earn Gaming. The Wagyu Games flagship product is set in the post-apocalyptic world with Undead Blocks.". Never heard about them, will register and download a game, and check this Wagyu a bit more. Thanks for sharing.

I believe a play to earn game to thrive should bring an immersive and free world to players. Something like GTA, The Witcher, Elder Scrolls... With many different skills to evolve and a complete manufacturing/crafting system to develop raw materials into every goods of the game. So you could craft your tools, weapons, clothes, buildings and everything else.

I'm sure this game would be a huge success and many people would live it for real. The in-game currency could be a token/altcoin letting players earn real money for their effort inside this universe. But nothing too paid to win like the games we see right now. Actually, pay to win features have killed modern multiplayer games' structure.

P2E games are very tough in the long run. The most benefited from this P2E game are those who enter early so they can get a lot of profit such as rewards from the game or they sell their NFT to new people who enter at a higher price. early P2E games usually sell game items very cheaply and then they will jump high when the community is large, but that usually doesn't last long because when the rewards are not balanced then this game starts to be abandoned.

Now the trend of play to earn and move to earn is finished. So investing in these projects now will not be good idea. There are still running project that are not Successful yet, so always check the uniqueness of project and project acheivementsns so far
It's not yet finished but it was getting vanished due to the bearish trend. The fact that if trend is always exist no matter what happened with market but the problem is these days people lack of confidence with ROI that being offered by play to earn project. They are seeking for something new from cryptocurrency. Once bullish trend will be coming back again and you will be seeing massive surge will happen with play to earn project.

I believe the same, p2e has huge potential, it's not like other trends in the market. The traditional game market is huge and already has a large player base. Just combine blockchain company and traditional game company, find a solution to overcome some problems, I believe the p2e trend will soon come back and boom, p2e field is a lot more realistic than other fields.

Hello there, I've been wondering where to ask this question yet could not find any suiting place anyways.  Huh

Its been almost a year I've first started chasing these type of games and enjoying it so far. I wonder if there are any P2M P2E games worth attention? We could maybe share knowledge and even play together some of those games.  Huh

If this is not the fitting place for this question please do lead me to the one that is.

Thank you in advance!

If your goal is still profit, then I think you should find yourself another way to invest instead of getting involved in P2E projects. Today, P2E projects are not as profitable as before, investing in them is still profitable but very small and quite risky. You can see that even Axie Infinity, the market leader and highest grossing game, had to stop its game because it was no longer generating revenue. That shows that P2E is really struggling at this stage.

Well then there is nothing to do except waiting for a proper AAA+ game to initiate the process...

What do you think of Sorare? Is there any other game like that? It is idle but it benefits if you properly invest in?

Thank you and everyone this thread is quite helpful now thanks to us all.

Have you tried Gamma4 built upon Bluzelle blockchain. Its an interesting P2E game where gamers play and earn. It rewards In-game NFTs  collected  while playing PVE(player vs element) and PVP(player vs player) activities, the NFT in Gamma4 can be interacted with players, they are useable as functional NFTs that can be used as in- game characters, cosmetics and can be traded outside of the game’s world.

You can more info on their white paper

I checked the site and indeed it is an interesting game.  FPS players will certainly like this NFT.  As a matter of fact, I am downloading this while writing this message.  So the theme is about killing zombies and earning on the kills.  one question though, do I need to buy anything first to be able to play this game?  You know the typical P2E game where we need to buy the character before we can start playing the game.

I'm not sure what kind of p2e do you like to prefer, but I would like to let you know that these p2e is not as profitable as it was before anymore. Obviously because of it's minting structure that won't gonna be sustainable for long term.
But I'd also suggest to you some exciting p2e to play, a role playing mmorpg  called MIR4. I have stopped playing it a long time but some of my friends were still enjoying it while earning a little.

It is indeed not that intense but at least we need an average gpu to run it, please bear it in mind the zombies are spawning from every side.
if we are using an old gpu, we will see a lot of glitch when we are playing it and at some point it will freeze.
tried it a few times, it is smooth in the beginning but when the zombies are around 30+, It is starting to glitch.

it may not be finished yet, because the gaming industry is huge and the P2E platforms are just in the early stage of their existence. but we are seeing a lot of crap P2E games, developed in a hurry to catch the hype. only few of them will survive long. if you happen to invest in one of them, make sure the company behind it is already established. much better if they have a name already in this industry, because they have long term goals, but if it just comes from nowhere, high likely that it won't last long.

I also agree that P2E projects are really crap, projects are almost just trying to be created quickly to keep up with the trend, not to completely create a game that is as entertaining as games traditional. The gaming industry is huge and if there is a serious combination of traditional game companies and blockchain companies to create games, I believe it will attract a lot of gamers, not just speculators. P2E is a game that can be both entertaining and profitable for players.

I looked at the reviews, very little reward. I see no point in spending a lot of time to earn $20. Maybe in a bull market the situation will be more profitable for the players, but participation in the game is not a guarantee for receiving rewards.
Well, they will have a regular tournament and there will be daily earnings. From the info I gathered, you could make a few bucks or more with their NFTs. I do not think that is a bad situation for the holders though.
it is totally different if we are talking about Gala, it is indeed not worth it to buy their NFTs right now. Not only it is overly expensive, it also does not have any earning whether it is daily or monthly. Totally not worth it
The entire economy of such projects is designed to increase the number of players. As soon as the number of players decreases, token prices fall. There are a lot of such games now. You can buy a separate computer for security and play all the games, but that's not a lot of money considering you'll be playing all day. This is all reminiscent of a Ponzi scheme, when payments to old participants come from funds that new participants contribute.
