Think you're good at games? Earn some money!
The three of you posted in a short window of unexpected downtime. You should be able to visit the website fine now.

If you still cannot, please try Chrome (rather than Brave or Opera, which we also semi-support) and turn off any ad/script blocker.

I think you guys might have missed this one, it is on the OP.

https://decentbet.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029893911-playDECENT-gg-Ineligible-Jurisdictions

But if you are not on the list maybe their site were down for some maintenance because I too visited it and I can't access to their website too.
It's either that or they've already fixed it. My country is not on the list of ineligible jurisdictions, and the website works for me. I don't really understand why it's obligatory to use the Comet Wallet and why is this website's only token is their own (what about accepting Bitcoin/Ethereum?). Speaking of tokens, does this mean that people who win get their rewards in your tokens as well? How and where can they exchange them for something of bigger value to the players, like Bitcoin? Is there a crypto exchange for that, for example? I'm not a gamer, but the whole idea seems interesting to me. I mean, I can see how people can be attracted to that. But the token thing seems unclear.

The entire site and its integration are currently built off of the VeChain blockchain. We do have a direct fiat method coming soon. That being said, we are currently listed on Oceanex.pro. We switched to a VeChain token to avoid the possibility of bloat on the chain slowing our service.

The token makes sure that you can also track its movements for this usecase, whereas bitcoin may not provide the full amount of information. Ethereum's wide support for smart contracts is why we used it in the past. Some dApps showed us that Ethereum is too prone to bloat.

The Comet Wallet is where the actual Token-Platform integration takes place. Keep in mind this is still a new platform, in the future, we may support other wallets - as well as adding site functionality into our main DBET wallet.

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
From time to time I play Fortnite, and I want to register.
Please, I would like to know if the error that appears on the page is due to an update. Or is it because they have some type of SSL for banned countries?
It is not very common for game sites to have such restrictions.
Thanks in advance..

BUMP!

More news will be coming soon about both the lightning cup, and World Crypto Con in general. To those we saw at WCC, it was great meeting you!

Unfortunately, when I go to your website it is giving me error.
Your site is not up? Are you doing some updates?
Just want to check what's going on here...

Another question. I see you've added TFT and OW, but why no CS? It's probably the most popular game to make wagers/bets on and has a pretty big userbase.

CS will be coming and is planned. There are a few issues with it and our virtual referee right now, but I am personally a big CS player so it's definitely planned.

My country is on the Ineligible Jurisdictions list. I'm shocked about it because it's not a third world country, gambling is allowed here, we have physical casinos and many people doing sport betting and so on. My country is also crypto-friendly so I never experienced that it would be on the "prohibited countries" list.
I will send you a PM where I come from and I ask you to check again because I'm pretty sure there are no legal reasons to exclude it.
There could be other reasons, I've seen casinos and companies not being able to operate in certain countries due to them being to lazy, or just not being able to obtain a license for the country, although if it's a decently big casino and country, don't think that would be a big problem.

Sounds super good but do you support only PC games or mobile as well because Pubg, fortnite can be played on mobile as well. by the way please check PM Smiley

Hello! We currently only support Windows, so you would have to play the PC variant of those games.

Ouch no mobile do you plan to add also on mobile user or this is exclusive to PC variant? Most of the games are look great to play will yry it on my laptop later I also want to know if do you have a bonus for the first time to use your site?.
I don't much experience with mobile gaming, but from what little I've seen, it doesn't look like we've actually seen a lot of competitions in the industry, and it'll be pretty hard to set up lobbies and monitor schools using a completely different API. It's just easier to capitalize of PC gaming right now, which I'm assuming is why they haven't dived in the mobile industry yet.

P2P wages are a good idea, and it'll be the only way you'll be able to profit of the market. I'd personally recommend doing something similar to a project that was popular in the CS:GO scene a couple years back, known as Kickback.com.

They ran their own tournaments and wagers, where people would take 1v1's for money. Worked pretty well, and some huge wagers went on that site, and that combined with a great customer service team and easy cashouts, made it pretty good to use.

Another question. I see you've added TFT and OW, but why no CS? It's probably the most popular game to make wagers/bets on and has a pretty big userbase.

I'm not sure how exactly the platform works but from the look of it, the games look really good and the UI works as well. If I am to take a guess, I think the platform is reports betting though the actually logistics of it I'm not sure about.
The platform does not constitute betting (though, we will be adding Peer-2-Peer wagering soon). A good way to consider our platform is like a battle pass that gives monetary rewards. Like other games, you must first use their token/currency and then buy the pass. We do the token on a per-quest basis rather than a battle pass basis. Also, we will eventually have a direct method for withdrawing via fiat.

Luckily, my country isnt included to the list of prohibited countries. Is it really necessary to join up tourney for you to be able to get some reward? or can it be applied on a typical or casual match?

Casual matches and open tourneys will be available soon! We have a leaderboard planned!

Also, check this screenshot out Wink

I thought that this was a rewarding platform for the games that we play on those specific games. But base on what I've read and understand from someone above so it's like a quest that you have to bet with each game. And once I've completed that quest, you'll earn dbets? but if I manage to fail and didn't meet the requirement, the amount that I've bet will lose.
Does my understanding was correct dbet staffs? you have an interesting platform to be honest.

So when are the next games? Also, I noticed recently that PlayVIG shut down a few games for a bit, does this mean playDECENT did too?

A new game was released yesterday, Magic the Gathering: Arena! We have another that will release next week.

It depends on the reason why PlayVIG shut down. We are two separate entities, so typically it doesnt mean an issue for us; however, if the issue relies with how their Virtual Referee was handling a specific game, that will most likely be an issue for us as well. To be safe assume that, yes, it does mean that.

The most important step is always going to be the player base.   I wondering if this is marketed primarily at the public or more of a Business to Business kind of operation where existing operations hope to encourage involvement by hosting games on your platform with the token capability.
Its always hard to acquire new customers is my take on most setups, theres a large start up cost from encouraging people to even visit never mind trust a brand and invest their time and in this case money in the hope of gaining something.    The most obvious currency for all online games now seems to be cosmetic items and in some cases these can be traded and value exchanged, that standing start is hard to beat for a competing idea.
I'm very interested how you proceed, I play quite a few of these games so perhaps I can test it out at some point.

Hey we're live! You can test on our platform at any time you wish! We are currently soft marketing to mainly PlayVIG users and Cryptocurrency users. We have a fiat method for buying and selling first/second-party by EOY - once that is around, we can market to the masses. The issue is that if we marketed like that now, we would have many users unsure of how to buy DBETs, then transfer them, etc etc.

Sorry for the delay in reply, we've been very busy lately with what I am about to link below.

This thread in my opinion cannot compare the the ones in which you can clearly discern that the person spent some time about how to present their project. Presentation is key and in my opinion, this thread is lacking. The presentational aspect make people to not even bother reading your thread.
It is critical though you create a good one, if not have other people who can because otherwise you will lose you customer interest.
Anyways, I still hope that you get a lot of other great feedback Smiley

This post made me look at some other OPs on this forum... I wonder what made you say this? Most dont even have screenshots, and I think the formatting for OP is great.

When will we see PvP functionality so that we can wager against others?

PvP will be coming by years end, but should come well before then.

I am not sure what you mean, as it is fully formatted with pictures sized for easy usage between PC and Mobile. The platform is still very new, and we want to keep the thread light and easy for Mobile users to read as well, I hope you understand this perspective.

Bump with an update:

Jackpots are typically updated weekly! We will try to adhere to this schedule, but delays may be caused by platform/UI updates.

I know you said it isnt a set schedule, but is there a specific day of the week to look out for? Like, would it be at the beginning or end of the week?

Just won my first Apex wager, this is a pretty solid platform - only a few small bugs, less than i expected for such an early product.

The staff member who focuses on planning the quests and jackpots aims for Mondays. Delays shouldnt be common, but if they were to happen, it would be during this still-fresh phase we are in.

So, typically closer to the beginning of the week.

Also, congrats!  Grin
