It will be great if mobile app stores start accepting cryptocurrency as payment but for it to effectively work, transaction costs have to be close to nothing otherwise users will still prefer to pay with their credit or debit cards.
that's will be great if play store or app store accepting cryptocurrencies for payment specially for people like me not owning a credit i hope someday they will consider that in a future.
I do not believe it. I think Apple and Google can not offer a service that is not stable and not yet regulated. This would naturally be very good news but it will not be for now. First, Bitcoin needs to stabilize and re-regulate and then use it as a service.

Yes that would be a great thing, that would happen for all the smart device users around the world. But that's very hard decision for the companies like apple and google. Business giants like them can't allow bitcoin until the government allows it in their countries. So hope their countries allows bitcoin soon and they gets the permission to use it in the app stores. First of all Google and any other store out there like Play Store or Apple Store is not going to accept any other currency than their own(of course credit card and debit card are exceptional). But there are already a lot of gift cards you can buy from Bitcoin stores. People do sell Google Play gift cards or you can even buy them whenever you want It's not hard and it is super available.

There are already several projects that deal with HTML5 gaming, though none of them has been successful so far. Personally I would love to have an opportunity to use a coin that would be universally accepted in all gaming stores.
I just hate fraction thing on bitcoin... and the payment is quite expensive nowadays. I foresee that new crypto will overtake bitcoin, the one that is less expensive when it comes to network transfer fee.

on this i will like to answer in the affirmative. lately, all Dapps have been created on the Mobile platform and that is a major version of created DApps. i will encourage every playstore that wants to incorporate a payment system into its application should use this time to do so and also do well to patronise DApps that make payment with cryptocurrency.

I think the OP is talking about the adoption of the 2 company (Apple Store and play store) to use bitcoin as one of their mode of payment.
On my opinion, I think they will only adopt this kind of payment if the price of bitcoin stops on being volatile.

I am sure that in the next few years bitcoin can be a method of payment for Playstore and Appstore, yes but not for now because there are many controversies and bad rumors for crypto, especially on bitcoin.

Some games already has a payment method with bitcoin.
But i don't know why it's happen, the price could double the price in dollars when we want to pay it with btc.
I think its a great idea if people can pay their AppStore or play store apps using bitcoins, specially those people who dont have bank accounts or credit cards like me, im having a hard time purchasing in-app or buying apps.
Those stores have Google and Apple behind, unfortunately I highly doubt that they are willing to accept cryptos anytime soon, this big step will be done by someone else.
For now it may not be able to accept bitcoin for several reasons. But I'm sure, when bitcoin has become a public payment instrument, they will accept it. Because business is an opportunity, when bitcoin becomes popular, those who don't want to use bitcoin can be left by consumers.
It's really hard to tell. If Google decides whether they would implement it in the near future, then our reputation would soar high. I don't think it's time though specially when everyone thinks about is money, investment, and the situation of the market. But I know someday it would be implemented.
In my opinion, it's also good if Appstore and Playstore have apps that can get bitcoin free for example bitcoin mining applications and others. It can also give the bitcoin token depositors a chance to get more bitcoins apart from investing. I think it's also an idea that nice for newbie learning too.
Yes I stongly agree to this! Most of the people nowadays don't have credit cards which is the primary mode of payment you can use in the AppStore and PlayStore just to buy a paid apps. So it is better to use bitcoin because you can access it anytime and load your wallet anytime you want in many ways. I hope they consider bitcoin as one of the payment accepted.

Looks like Playstore and Appstore just need more time to extend their services. I believe with time they will start to accept payments in crypto. It is in their interest to get a profit by making easier the payment method to their customers.
