Signed up, tried log in, fail!  Apparently password is incorrect  Huh Huh

Working on a crypto over here that's not a fork of BitCoin, LiteCoin or any other coin for that matter and so would be nice to get on a dedicated "altcoin" forum.

How did you sign up?  With FB or TW or just regular?

Just regular, got the confirm mail etc but "computer says no"

I will reset it and send you a PM.  What is your username.

Classification according to SHA256/scrypt is not a good way of classification of cryptocurrency.

The major difference is whether it is energy intensive.

Code:
                                                                 / SHA256 pure proof-of-work
/ Energy intensive cryptocurrency - Proof-of-work cryptocurrency
                                                                 \ scrypt pure proof-of-work

                                                                 / SHA256 hybrid proof-of-stake
\ Energy efficient cryptocurrency - Proof-of-stake cryptocurrency
                                                                 \ scrypt hybrid proof-of-stake

BTW ppcoin uses SHA256 proof-of-work.

I don't know how I missed that.  Thanks for the catch.  Made the correction.

Thanks to all the help I've been getting on my forum to date from some of the members here on BCT.

I've upgraded the forum listings and added a price ticker to all the forum listings... makes it easier to see what cost what.  The coinchoose.com api is wonderful and an great site for information.

At only two weeks online... it's fun ride.  If you have some time, stop by!

Don't know Jimmy i'm not really sold on all the ads, and the smaller format?

wow Jim you transformed it - its looking really kinda hot now -

but as i said before " like electrons where does the information pool for resistance "

you need a spot for that - otherwise you are making people , click in and click out - and the flow gets disjointed - but maybe it will work ?

certainly looks the part ! < as said before i like that your Ads are from Crypto as well - nice -

Someone should start a poll, to name an official alt coin forum. I'd join the one that wins

I thought PPC uses BOTH pof and pow?

Bitcointalk should cooperate on this. I mean they want to keep it just on Bitcoin and not to add subforums for altcoins. So in order to get rid of alcoiners and direct them somewhere they could just delete "Alternate cryptocurrencies" forum (well or at least make a sticky topic about this new forum).

Someone please tell them that Grin
