Looks like that transaction *was* at the end of a VERY long list of unconfirmed transactions... that were then all "orphaned" when a previous output further up the chain was double spent and confirmed into another transaction... I was able to go back about 50 transactions, before chain.so decided I had too many requests and blocked my IP temporarily... so I got bored and couldn't be bother tracking how far back it REALLY goes... could be a chain of more than 100 unconfirmed transactions!!  Shocked  Roll Eyes  Undecided

The last one I looked at was:  https://chain.so/tx/BTC/5e0dd76ad5a9c573f6fb83268f9df886b1bc8e530e135dea94219f2a62d788ab

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your transaction can no longer be broadcast and/or confirmed as the inputs no longer exist. None of the unconfirmed parent transactions are valid any more either... they're all "gone".

The only way to recover your payment is if the person who was sending you the coins, resends the payment using a different transaction.

Hi,

Somehow on blockchain it doesn’t appear but it appears on chain.so

https://chain.so/tx/BTC/1282f523c095e99cb382628d457785cd4f3a7a2719c58504629ef9cbdd07c151

Blockchain:

Can you check for me and see what can be done .

I am freaking out here. Sorry for troubling you.

This transaction showing not confirmed for more then 14 hours. Can someone help me to accelerate it. I need it urgently . Thanks in advance
That transaction does not exist on ANY block explorer that I looked for it on... You either got the TXID wrong, or your transaction has been dropped by the network and no longer exists in the mempool

Hi I am quite new to this and my transactions shows not found. Can someone help me .

That transaction looks to have already confirmed and is showing 3 confirmations. It may have just been a delay. Are you seeing any further issues with it now?

Hi mocacinno,

What if it's not found even if I added ?format=hex? I can't find my hex. My transaction is delayed for 3 days now, and my sending wallet won't refund it. Sad

Transaction ID: https://blockchain.info/tx/2a668be19244aa2d4776ae70f668818800ebb7d93c3af3ed4abb2b44f231024b

It seems like i don't have this tx in my mempool either.
Possible causes:
- it wasn't broadcasted properly by your wallet
- it contained dust outputs
- it was broadcasted +10 days ago
- it's double spending unconfirmed inputs

Mind telling us which wallet you're using?

Hi mocacinno,

My BTC wallet is coins.ph. And sadly they don't allow exporting of private keys Sad

But good thing, after 4 days my BTC transaction was confirmed!

The easyest sollution is to get the signed transaction hex by adding ?format=hex at the end of the above urls, for example:
https://blockchain.info/tx/7b38fe51ae4716031f50f0b2b586e0c326ccaa474980818daf2ddb9ac92e9a03?format=hex

Keep those hex'es in a seperate file. If the network drops the tx, you can at least rebroadcast it.

This will, in no way, speed up the addition of your transaction to a block, it's just a precaution you can take in case your transaction gets dropped from the mempool!

If you want the tx'es to be added to a block faster (confirmed), you can contact kano, macbook-air or quickseller and offer a reward for them to add your tx'es to a block.

Other than that, you could try to double spent the inputs, do a CPFP or a RBF, but those techniques are difficult and do not guarantee a confirmation either (they just enlarge the chance of a confirmation).

Like all the others before you (in this thread)
=> basically, the fee wasn't big enough in these tx'es. In your specific case, you also used the output of an unconfirmed transaction as input for a new transaction.

The sollutions are basically the same:
- wait, rebroadcast the hex if the tx is dropped from the mempool (see this thread)
- contact kano, macbook-air or quickseller and offer a reward (see this thread)
- construct a double spend  (see this thread)
- attempt a RBF  (see this thread)
- attempt a CPFP  (see this thread)

So I should use the same receiving address again after it was dropped and returned with higher fees and not a new receiving address?

Thanks a lot for helping me

As long as you're sending coins between two of your own wallets, it does not matter.
Electrum manages all addresses in the wallet, if you send your coins to the same address or if you generate a new receiving address, both addresses will always be managed by the same wallet.

You should see a wallet as a piece of software that keeps private keys safe. It basically stores the keys, visualises the inputs to all addresses whose prive keys it manages, and helps you generate transactions using those inputs. When you generate a new receiving address, an extra private key is added to your wallet (actually, electrum keeps a 'stock' of about 100 pregenerated, unused private keys). This being said, your wallet still manages all previous private keys, so it does not matter if you generate a new receiving address or not.

Should I now wait until some picks it up or do what? When the btc come back to wallet it was sent from what should I do to transfer it to the wallet I would like to transfer it to? Do a new transaction with new receiving adress or try to send it again with the push option?

if both adresses (the sending and the receiving) are yours, yeah, i'd suggest waiting a while untill all pending transactions are either confirmed or dropped. This can take a couple of days.
Afterwards, you could recreate the transactions that were dropped, maybe manually check the fee to make sure it's high enough, and mark the transaction as replacable (new feature in newer electrum versions 2.7.x). If you mark a tx as replacable, you can do a RBF and make the fee higher straight from the electrum gui without having to do difficult actions.
