I think you should wait for replies from the cryptopia support team. Which is important when you deposit eth, its eth address is given by cryptopia and you've done the right thing.

Yes, unfortunately they're the only ones now who can help you, so be patient, always use one reference number for support and keep you support questions tight and to the point. Just send a reminder every week or so... but be prepared to wait for a very long time. Cryptopia is known to take very log times with support requests. As people mention, next time be extra careful, Only use deposit addresses given, and always always always double check. Crypto is great but people must be extra careful when making transactions. Spend an extra 15 seconds to double check everything.

I have good experiences on cryptopia support. Unfortunately they don't support smart contracts, but I think, they will help you.
Here is already a thread from members with same/similar problem.

Thank you very much! I still don't have much experience with their support, but since I'm new at cryptos I don't know if it's a common exchange site's practice to say that those funds are lost.

Anyone has had this experience before or knows if they should credit my balance? Their response time is not the best and it's a lot of money for me  Sad

Thanks for the reply. I registered at ETH forum but it has to be approved by the administrator. That's why I asked here, maybe someone knows or had the same experience as I had.

Hi. I know this is a bitcoin technical support forum, but I didn't know where to post this. If it belongs on another subforum, please let me know.
I just tried to send some ETH to Cryptopia, and after a while it didn't show up. I discovered that the account where I sent them from uses Smart contracts, and Cryptopia doesn't support that. The address is fine and I can check that there are more than 100 confirmations already. I submitted a ticket at Cryptopia, but the average response time is 12 days. I feel like an idiot, but I don't mind waiting, but please tell me I didn't lose those ETH. Technically, they received them because the address is correct, so I want to assume that it's just a matter that the "automatic" system of their site didn't see the coins and that someone at Cryptopia will check this and credit my balance when they read my ticket. Do they usually do that? Or they say that it was an error from my part and that the ETHs are lost? Anyone knows how Cryptopia deals with this kind of mistakes?

Thanks in advance
