If you know the account of the member who stole your money, why don't you put the profile link here so that all members make a red flag, if they confirm that your story is true, of course.

As for this, without any details, I do not expect anyone to be able to help you, and I do not expect that the thief will return your money to you after it is in his wallet. If he had, he would not have stolen it in the first place.

I hope I am wrong and the thief will return your money, although this is a very weak possibility because thieves do not have good hearts to be influenced by your words and return the money.

OP, this thread runs on evidence, we can't help you if you don't give us any proof... or anything at all. Based from the impression I get from this part of your post,

[...]
I know you are in this forum and you will
read this topic.

------ is my phone number, you know what I am talking about.

you know the user quite close, or at least had an established communication with them. If you can provide their username, the best we can do is to invite them here to talk about this matter, or to tag them [suppose your evidence are strong and convincing enough that they indeed stole from you] and hopefully they'll return the fund to you. But with the current info you gave us here, there's not enough basis to build a case.

Your money is unfortunately gone with no chances of ever getting them back, but if person that stole it active here (as you claim) then you should use Scam Report Form so we get a better idesa what has hapepned here and possibly tag and flag that account in order to prevent him (or at least try) from scamming someone else.

I don’t how this came about but I did scan the wallet to try and see if it connected to any wallet address that has been posted publicly here in the forum but unfortunately I couldn’t get any positive results.

I also tried doing the same things, and it led me nowhere. It seems like the address the OP posted was an address that the said person used to receive bitcoin, and after a successful receiving of the bitcoin, the coins were then moved to another address. Upon checking the address, the address appears to look like an exchange address.

The exchange in particular is . Binance according to the final address of the bitcoin receiver.

@Op If the money is large enough, you can try reaching out to Binance Support and reporting the scam transaction to them to see if there is anything that could be done from their end, maybe restricting the user account (which I don't know how possible that can be), or monitoring the user closely and trying to figure out what really happened if it was a scam or a business gone wrong.

I’m sorry for your lose, and right now there’s nothing anyone can do to help you but if you can provide more information about how you got scammed or if it was a business you guys did then sharing with the forum how they contacted you, how you knew the person had an account here in the forum or anything at all that you think will help the situation.

Did you make a deal with someone on this forum?

One thing that you should keep in mind on internet is to never trust anyone. Even the person you are seen physically can still scam you, not to talk of the person that you are not seeing physically but online.

You need to make this clear for us. What is the Bitcointalk username of the person that scam you?

Yes unfortunately the way it works with bitcoin is that once it’s sent it can’t be reversed once it’s confirmed. You can’t do a chargeback like you could with a bank.

What you need to do is get a hardware wallet and you also need to format your computer and reinstall everything because you got some virus and that’s how you lost your coins.

@OP you will not get back your coins anymore, it's gone.

What you can do is to prevent you will lose your coins in the future, in case you're still interested with Bitcoin.

The first step is choosing a good wallet (non custodial and open source) e.g. electrum, bluewallet, etc.

The next step is the exchange, better to use no KYC P2P e.g. Agoradesk or DEX e.g. Bisq, in order to stay private and not make people know you're holding Bitcoin.

And the last is learn to avoid everything of making money online e.g. airdrop, giveaway etc and learn about security.

Information is still unclear about how this could happen. OP's bitcoins can be stolen by accusing the user of being on this forum.

Can you explain in detail.

Check that the BTC wallet address has been sent to Binance.

How did you know the owner of that address is here on the forum?

Would you mind to tell us what exactly happened?
Without much information, we can't give you any advice on what to do.

And take note if the transaction is already confirmed there's no way to reverse the transaction.

About that address, I tried to search here but you're the only one who mentioned it.
