To be absolutely sure, you need to extract your private keys and then run a tool to look for them in your wallet.dat file (or other files on your disk).

I just installed 0.5.0 and after quick test of most common use cases everything seems to be OK for me (although I'm not testing wallet encryption yet). I'd like to say that I'm impressed with changes in GUI in 0.5.0. It's still not perfect, but it is huge step in good direction.
Not sure if it is bug or feature, but when I send some coins to myself, "amount" of this transaction is zero, although in previous versions (0.3.24) there was correct amount which I typed to "Send coins" form.
I know that now it's not the best time to asking feature requests, but I'm missing two simple things in 0.5.0:
* Actual balance should be visible on every tab, I'm missing it especially on Transactions tab. I think status bar is good place for showing it.
* It would be very nice to have separate column "Balance" right of "Amount" on Transactions, displaying actual balance in wallet in the time of given transaction. It's pretty common in all banking applications.
However those are feature requests, not bugs. So far everything is good in 0.5.0 for me.
