so this amounts to a giveaway (i thought that against the rules) in disguise as a 'quiz' ?

Giveaways are not against the rules. Only promoting posts that contribute nothing (like just posting your address).
If I asked people to post their wallet addresses to receive free coins, that would be against the rules.
You may have as many giveaways as you want, as long as you don't clutter up the forum with useless posts.
More importantly, if you get 0 answers correct you get nothing (except consolation prize for playing).

lots of submissions already and boy do you guys suck!

Keep em coming!!

I'll try to get someone to start compiling a payout excel doc so we can start sending out some funds over the weekend.

I think this is not a giveaway (a thing that is given free without doing some task), it's actually a contest because you have to answer the questions correctly and by playing the game to get some coins. If not, you get nothing. Contest like this is  not prohibited on the forum.
