Guys can you calm down. No fud is happening. It is comical how you behave when someone critically comments on your coin. Don't be silly, the issue was there and I, as client, was very suspicious about the price. I did have a closer look at buy panda and there are some issues I like to point out.

Who is the owner of this service?
Why there is no specific person/company mentioned who runs this?
Is it legally registered business? (I doubt)
You ask for verification, may I know for what reason?
Member verification requires a photocopy of your PASSPORT.
VIP membership in addition requires your UTILITY BILL.

Why do you ask for passport and utility bill? These are pretty confidential documents. There is no mention what you do with these documents and if you at all legally comply with the data protection and confidentiality act. Usually there is a reference on the website (I cant find it). I'm sure in order to gain this certificate you must fill a form or the the company needs to checked out - depending on the country. I don't even know where the heck you are running this website, in the US? Why did you register the domain as private? Are you concerned about something? You are dealing with ones money.

Answer here why it is not enough for you to be verified by PAYPAL - normal company that exists and is registered and widely known and complies with law in all countries it operates.

On a sidenote: We've done some calculations today and there has already been bought for more than 200 million PND with http://www.buypnd.com/

I LOVE buypnd.com! One small suggestion? How about an obvious link to download the wallet on that page? I can envision lots of newcomers asking themselves "Where do I get a PND address?"

Beware of double checking the price it tends to change rapidly and I mean it. They had some issues couple of days ago. No one from the management noticed,,,suspicious.

It doesn't change rapidly, there was no issue, it was an external API that didn't show the price correctly. All orders went through at normal price.
I thought you were going to spam the 500 other altcoin threads with your fud which is based on lies.

Most of the time people read first about Pandacoin and then actually buy the coins, but I'll suggest it Smiley

I have been lurking here for a while, and am holding around 21mil coins. Not a huge amount, granted, and i will be putting in some buy orders shortly.
I really like the activity of the dev's- excellent work guys, the recent developments are fantastic, very very professional.
The one thing that does concern me is the volume, their simply isn't enough. prior to the announcements we had some good volume, both in ltc and btc, while this was to be expected on the lead up to the 30th August, i can't understand since the announcements, why this has crashed to current levels. I don't understand why? personally i think the ON TIME announcements and developments were spot on, so why the massive downturn on volume?
Thoughts please?

The entire altcoin space is just stretched too thin.  There are 500 active coins now and everyday more crowd in.  At the same time, the amount of money in altcoins is going down as people get sick of scams and pull out.  There are fewer dollars chasing more coins.  Furthermore the hyped gadget coins still suck in the majority of the free cash in the market as people still dream of buying into the next bitcoin.

Every week a new one crops up, gets +300BTC or more volume on Bittrex and then the manipulators dump and take their profits thus leaving yet another thread of hopeless bag holders desperately looking for some Twitter hyped supercorn to make their money back and let let them buy a Lambo.

Everyweek hundreds of coins have new announcements, new hype, new features and investors find themselves scurrying like mice from coin to coin afraid to miss out on the next Darkcoin.

I'm into a few coins (including Panda).  Basically I'm holding in the hopes that when the market eventually clears out the garbage Panda will be one of the long term survivors.  I hope the dev team will be able to stick with it for the next year or so until that happens because unless they drop some kind of marketing bomb to get people outside of crypto to use Panda not much is going to happen with Panda (or anyother non-Twitter pump and dump coin) for quite a while.

Panda seems well be run and stable without scams, problems or issues.  I'm not making money but I feel I won't logon here one day and find out the devs have run away or that there is a hidden pre-mine or any of the usual scamcoin issues.

Agree 100%... In reality, it's not the 'features" or gimmicks or anon or anything like that needed to carry a coin to the top, it's marketing,  usefulness and honesty mixed with a solid, multi-talented Dev team dedicated to the coin and it's users. Period, end of story. The coins that become adopted by the public at large will not only survive but, will prosper.

The same altcoin cycle of pump n dump also weeds out all the scam coins and only the best one will be competing among themselves.

I would also like to add, i think the mining browser is genius, and i hope the up-coming marketing plan pushes the ease of mining pnd to the masses. (quite how this crossover to the masses i have no idea, but i feel this could be key) your everyday person, firing up their browser and instantly mining, i think would get many people very interested. Lets face it, at the moment, it's a right pain in the arse, and no one, unless they are very interested in this concept is going to invest both the time and money in building and setting up a mining rig.
top work dev's!

edit:

With regard to marketing to the masses, i believe that the crypto world in general, is very secular and a huge niche. It needs to get out of this never ending cycle. perhaps aiming at some of the more generalised tech bloggs/sites etc. somewhere where people are interested in general technology. your iphone guys, your android fans etc. Somewhere where there is a huge amount of interested in technology people, that can go to a browser and go wow! i'm mining!

That's because the people who have PND, keep PND. And this forum can be quite toxic and negative towards other coins (we had some people who were heavily invested in other coins starting fud here).
Our marketingteam has started working now on their marketing plan to grow from outside of the current cryptospace. However that takes some time to get some effect as you can imagine.
Another thing is that we have some "hidden" volume. The volume of buypnd isn't counted towards it and there are quite a few buys every day.

Does buypnd not buy coins from an exchange?
Volume will come when i look around at diffrent "twitter experts"

It does, but as you can imagine the entire process takes time, you have to withdraw money from paypal, buy bitcoin/litecoin with it and only then he can restock Smiley
Also it's spread out over multiple exchanges to get the best price. Bleutrade volume for example isn't counted on coinmarketcap Smiley

True, i never considered the hidden volume @buypnd. Thanks for the replies.
The thing i like about this coin, is it's attempt to include the every day person in the world of crypto currency. In my opinion, this has been the biggest problem - mass adoption. Crypto is currently used by an absolutely minute % of the population. Let's face it, it's a huge learning curve, of which (understandably) the everyday guy or gal is hardly going to invest the ammount of time that we do.
If a coin could touch on that untapped huge percentage of the population, it would be huge. The whole idea of decentralised currency will eventually fail, unless there is much higher adoption.

Is someone else here  who ownes a bag of KARM (karmacoin)
If you see how people get scammed there again  Undecided you can
really be lucky to be in this community involved, seems to be a fair and honest
project for the long time investors  Grin

someone came on irc earlier, it's not really a scam, the dev just gave up as far as I understood.

Its a very easy interpretation to declare what happend with lill.com and the billion dump a few days ago as "not a scam"
But like i said i am happy to mine, buy and hodl PND  Smiley

well I honestly don't know the full story, so can't judge.
We're working hard though Wink

also check all the markets,  coin market cap does a crappy job as far as I'm concerned, just updated our logo a week or two ago and list only a few selected markets when all of them have some volume.

BuyPND.com is and will continue to buy PND on all supported exchanges with low price buy orders everywhere it can, and generally tries not to make waves in the market.  If folks want to sell cheap we may setup a dump site with constant buy pressure Wink  SellPND.com  hrmm..
