Step 2: download the official wallet from http://pandacoinpnd.org/download-pandacoin-wallet/
Step 3: register on BCT (https://bitcointalk.org/) if you didn't do it previously and read some more on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529.new#new then post your thoughts
Step 4: get on #pandacoinpnd channel from FreeNode IRC (again, register your nickname with NickServ if you didn't do it previously - see http://goo.gl/ydai) and issue the "!rain add" command to be able to get wet from the monsoon rains there (another good command is "/msg pndtip help" to get you started)
Step 5: be active in the community and keep your wallet open for staking (stake is 2.5% interest per year for every PND coin you own)
Incentive: I started with PandacoinPND on June 1st, 2014... now this is the last row of my stakes (shameless bragging):
