It seems XMR rally postponed, due to BTC rise.
FYI: BTC broke CNY2700 which IMHO is a great indicator for up up and away...

Told you buddy Wink

LTC is in accumulation phase also and will soon go up!

And... XMR 20K is broken. Enjoy the ride  Cheesy

Edit: TBH, I didn't expect 100000XMR to be dumped instantly (through static walls on 20000). The first 50000 were bought anyway. Someone wants desperately out, or, wants cheaper coins. The volume on Polo though still is on the rise. Let's have some popcorn. Smiley

There is that one big wall eager to sell, currently ~20k left and sitting at 195k. After that the asks are pretty thin.
XMR broke 1000btc volume, this is important for whales.

Above 210 FOMO. This could go up to 5K btc volume at least (why not? ETH almost did 50K), so in that case I expect a new ATH, maybe 0.01+

But first we need to break 210. Tongue

Quite the resistance at 0.002-0.0021 are, seemed to have broken it now.

Currently the battle is around 0.00235, but that isn't a major one, next huge one will be 0.00265-0.0027 correct? After that, all bets are off...
Shorts aside, yes - 27-28 is the next battle ground.

Above 30, escape velocity...

I will quote myself from my previous post. This is what will possibly happen IMHO. Many people have been margined XMR.

friends, look at the ether chart. looking a lot like bitcoin in 2014.

there's a lot of dumb money on polo right now.

be careful. i'd rather see them lose than you. i would be a seller around .0035 to .004

I believe the "jump" from 25-26 to 35 will be instant. We may witness abnormalities if 3x margin calls get burnt.

Anyone knows where the 130-160 shorts (x3) get margin called?

I already replied in another thread with a rough approximate. To calculate it exactly one needs to apply the following formula:

(amount of collateral - (amount of units/shares * price)) / (amount of units/shares * price) = % of maintenance margin

Amount of collateral is the sum of what is sitting in the account already + the proceeds from the short shale.

Thanks for the info dEBRUYNE. Had no idea about it and -indeed- solved a lot of questions...

That formula is for shorts by the way. Formula for margin longs is:

((amount of units/shares * price) - amount of additional money borrowed) / (amount of units/shares * price) = % of maintenance margin

An example of amount of additional money borrowed would be as follows:

Let's say an investor buys 10k$ worth of shares and loans an additional 10k$ to buy additional shares, then the amount of additional money borrowed is $10k.

So the 25-35 zone is fireworks probably.

IMO if this breaks 35 no one should be short anyway...

Probably earlier I think, if you use the 33% you get around 200-220k.
This could explain the walls...
