So moment of truth, will we break 450 for good? So far so good.

What about alts? LTC, DOGE, XRP? How much will they follow BTC?
Well it depends if BTC will break the mentioned resistance (high >550 and/or close >450).If not, they will start to regain their value relatively to btc but not sure what this will mean in USD terms.
If yes then some of them may bleed more - sooner or later they will bottom and probably bounce really hard..
Now, regarding macsga's model, the basic idea is described in his thread:

This is dependant to where BTC stops... no way you can say if this happens anytime soon.

Yep; I support this claim. As previously klee said, we're working together on a robust prediction scheme and we may have an announcement to make for all you guys that want to get into "safe" trading. I know this sounds ridiculous, but we're testing some mathematical models right now and -so far- we think they're working.
