What hash rate are you seeing?
ATM 35K, but hopefully with the use of the ME(Media Engine, aka a nother 32bit cpu on the PSP) and the VFPU I could push ~100K

Wow. I wish I kept my PSP. What speeds do you get on such a tiny and slow CPU?

Edit: Nevermind. Found it. X3 Still cool.

Hey Guys,

My name is Alex and the other day I got bored and decided to start creating a Bitcoin miner for the PSP! For those of you who don't know what a PSP is look here-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Portable_hardware

So atm it can connect to a pool, get work, hash the work, submit the work and repeat all the steps over again (It has some issues with submitting the correct work, see video)

Here is a little video of it working->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VOJLgWY7No

I'm looking for others to start to help me with this project. So if anyone is interested, let me know by posting below and I'll put up a git repo for us all to use.

I would like to also work on coding the sha256 hash to use the onboard ME(Media Engine) and VFPU. So if anyone has skills in asm coding with a mips chip, let me know.

Happy Coding!

Alex
