The pot size will be increased immediately when players start depositing BTC.
If you think that 0.01BTC prize is not good enough you can try some faucets.

0.01 is the prize for a tournament not credit for you account and you must win the tournamentif you wanna get 0.01

So basically you have a lot of tournies with free prizes and tournies with big prizes and small buyins going on.
