Society is asymmetric in its structure. The existence of various classes and social groups (professional, demographic, ethnic, etc.) that have different, or even opposite interests, aspirations, and ideologies inevitably leads to their collision and struggle with each other. And in order for this natural struggle at all times and among all nations not to take the form of a “all against all” war, a special organization of force is required that would assume the function of preventing it and provide the necessary minimum of social regulation and order. It is this function of the self-preservation of society that is fulfilled by politics, and, above all, in the person of such its supreme subject as the state. It is no coincidence that politics is often defined as “the art of living together, the art of unity in a multitude”.

Politics are just basically the accepted way of the world to elect its leaders. It is based on the influence and how the politician himself/herself can present and how he/she can show that he is best fitted for the position. Well, a world without politicians means without leaders, so one way or another, we would return to the system of who has power (strength) shall become the leader.

We don't need politics.

In old China and Japan - and other SE Asia countries - the farmers are the ones who developed much of the martial arts so that they could fight enemies who came to plunder them.

In the developed countries, farmers with guns can do a lot better job.

Why farmers? Because they are usually reasonably honest. They can decide how the country should be run without resorting to politics. And they even do away with the need for police and the military... and money by bartering with their farm animals for what they need.

It's politics that gets nations into trouble.

Who would not say, but if there was no policy, we would still run with sticks and stones in the 7th century.
Now politics and political figures are mostly very bad.

I believe humanity would not survive without politics. It is in our nature to govern and to be governed.

From big nations to the smallest tribes, there will always be people who will act as leaders, second in command, minions and etc. Politics will always be there. And it is not politics that is evil in itself, it's just that more people who are evil and greedy choose to run for politics while the good ones dont.

Condemning politics altogether is throwing away the baby with the bath water. I think you might want to rephrase your statement. Politics as a whole is necessary. But politics, the way it's being played in most countries today, is not necessary. If you criticize politics in general, then what do you suggest replaces it. I am really keen to know. At least our world needs to be run in one way or the other. And time has proven that the option, dictatorship, isn't any better. Unless you know something we don't know.

This is what came to my mind:
Why are Principals and Directors necessary in schools and colleges?
Why are Directors, Presidents, CEOs, CIOs, Vice Presidents etc... necessary in organizations or enterprises?
Why are Medical Superintendents necessary in Hospitals?
Well, I could go on and on, the list would grow.
In all these entities politics is necessary.

But the fact is that each organization needs:
-well defined set of policies and procedures
-a group of managerial cadre of experts who are responsible for ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
-a group of experienced experts who decide the future strategies for growing and sustaining the business

Hence politics is necessary for administration of the affairs of a nation / country. Politics handles both internal and external affairs.

To be honest, I don't really understand politics, and I also have no desire to be involved in politics itself.
I am aware that our lives in the state are affected by the political conditions in our respective countries despite the fact that we still have to live our real lives and are responsible for our own lives, in my opinion politics does not help my daily living conditions.

politics is the basic need of state. politics can make the state and can destroy it. the politics which destroy the state then the non politics government is better.if politics which make the country better then it is very well that the politcian should control the state.
yes because with politics we can choose community leaders, and many countries use politics to raise their names. So politics can be said necessary and unnecessary, it is necessary if the state is a republic so that there is no nepotism, especially in running the government. there is no need for a country that applies a royal system where they may already know the descendants of a good king as a future leader.

This is true that politics is not necessary in those state which is not a democratic state. But sometimes it needs politics and a political leader if the state is democratic. A democratic state needs a good political leader who will work for the side of the people. Democracy means a state that maid from the people, by the people and for the people. So it is said that politics is not necessary but if it is a democratic state then there must need politics.

A country needs a government. But if you think back, is it necessary if your society is living without that government and can still exist and function normally?
What should the government do?

Politics for me is necessary. This is where standards and set of rules and regulations were able to met in order to sustain a harmonious environment for the people. Politics should regain its essence by having those politicians uplift the community and begin changing this chaotic world into a new one and build a foundation of peace and glory.

Politics makes our society works. But if that certain thing is really existing, I think we should be in a hurry quest on it. If that would benefit all the citizen of the society. I'm also thinking of that same idea, I asked myself if there is such thing that could replace our society. Politics is like full of mes nowadays due to politicians that do illegal thing like for example corruption. Thus, we can see how I'm tired of the system of the society so if there's such thing like that then we should definitely follow it.

Hundreds of years ago, politics were formed due to a strong need and demand of the people. The inspiration of its formation were drawn from the arbitrarily affirmation of people that they need a system in which they could unitarily decide what system will prevail and who to take over the facilitating of the power. And we could still draw a new concept out of that idea. If we all think that we should find a new way to uplift the living of the people, then it can be possible. Politics will only become unnecessary if we are ready to change the face of the world without such. However, I think that some would say that politics are unnecessary because of how worst the system is today. But if we could have better people in the politics than what we have today, surely, tge system will also become better.

My dream is to live in anarcho-capitalism system. Everybody provides for everybody. No politicians or goverments needed and the industry will raise insanely fast since there will be competition in every aspect of economy.

No, politics is not necessary in life. I think all we need is a president and everything else that goes along with it is useless. I think we as the people of our country should make our own decisions. We shouldn't have to rely on a governor or senator. Most of the politicians were or are still, lawyers. We should be able to make our own decisions.

Politics are necessary, but currently there's too much noise around that stuff. But that's normal for our world - we tend to make things bigger than they are.

politics is necessary because without us knowing live in this world should be able to understand political life.If we live not politics then we can not compete with the people around us.Politics here does not mean to plunge into the party world, but teaches  political science so that we can win a strategy to achieve the purpose of live.
