I believe it pumps someday but I'm in doubt it was easier for them to reach $100. That is why I've said, it has become uncertain but not losing it hopes.

Maybe the ranking on coinmarketcap can have an effect on the price of Polkadot, because some people choose coins for investment sometimes see
the coins that are in the top ranking. So the higher the ranking projects on coinmarketcap, the more people will be interested in investing
in these projects. So one of the reasons why Polkadot is quite popular and many people are interested in investing in Polkadot, that's because
Polkadot is ranked 10. Then can Polkadot reach a price of $100, I am very optimistic that Polkadot in the future will reach a price of $ 100,

I'm not sure Polkadot is still hyped as much as it was hyped early on in the year and now that there's an alternative on NEAR protocol called Octopus Network, I'm not too big about it considering appchains don't need to spend thousands if not millions of dollars on a parachain slot. Best bet would be to see Polkadot hit all time high but that would need a major news to achieve such.

Polkadot still has potential but only problem is that things are moving slowly in their ecosystem due to the project scope.

It depends on the TVL it gets at the end of the day I think and maybe hopefully next year it gets NFts and games ported to its platform and some kinda l2s to help maybe with implementing evme on top of the chain or probably moonriver and moonbeam picks up volume by then I think what will basically burst dot price will be parachain auction that get Lots of Dots locked

I guess PolkaDOT should spend more time and effort on marketing because I believe they have lacked in this area, It has no doubt that they have the technology and capability, but they are drowned by the Ethereum and Binance popularity due to many topics and discussions, in the latter part of 2021, that's why that $100 price speculation for DOT is very hard to achieve even in 2022.

I'm not going to talk about filing here for market terms because market conditions are always hard to predict but so far there has been a bit of improvement going on within the market and within Polkadot as well so there's a bit of hope for next year as well which won't be long before everyone will be there in another year, so generally Polkadot will still be good next year.

If the breakout passes the downtrend, it is possible that DOT could rise again to its previous all-time high around $54.22 or $55. If this mechanism doesn't work, it's likely to go down again.

It's possible and why not? the marketcap of DOT is still below ethereum and binance smartchain. This coin is possible to reach $100 as the marketcap when DOT reaches such value will still under 100 billion marketcap. that makes sense if this price can be achieved by DOT in long term. Bitcoin may possible to increase even higher from time to the time, The competition was very strict these days but remember that any blockchains have their own uniqueness. DOT is very well known as a complicated blockchain compared with Solana. I think dot needs to be compliant with EVM but it seems like DOT is really stable right now.

I will never believe that Polkadot may take 100$ this year or not even in the net year Grin

this has been in the verge of hitting the momentum this year but stopped at 50$ level meaning if there is a chance this to Hit 100$ it have happened that time .

So maybe waiting for another years ? why not because you have no other option but to let the whales take place and invest to move this up.

Every Good project has possibilities to reach the top specially DOT that has taken the 50$ ATH this year, as without specification if when this can be reach? so yes Polkadot may break this record in the coming years , it may not happen this 2021 and maybe not also in 2022 but at least will be indeed to make it at the coming years.
actually i have 100 Polkadot in my Wallet that i am willing to keep hold for the next 5 years because at first i doubt this project but knowing the future now? yes i invested on this also .

I agree with you that this is not going to happen so soon because bitcoin right now is not moving in a way that would allow polkadot to reach that price so easily, however I think that if given enough time it is almost a given that polkadot will reach that price, even if we saw a crash in the market and the price of polkadot crashed as well I still think a price of 100 dollars could be reached during the next bull market.

$100 to achieve soon? Don't make a joke, man. The current DOT price is only about $25 although it is increasing 5.5%. $100 is still very far, right? I doubt if DOT price can achieve $100 in the next 1-2 months even if bullrun continues to 2022. Even its ATH is only about $54, it is half of $100. If it makes a new ATH, I think it won't be above $60.

Since you are not asking for specific time to when it will grow a Hundred Bucks then the answer is certainly YES.

Polkadot(DOT) is one good project that reached Hard Cap so there is a good future waiting in this coin.

But if you can keep the holding at least?

53$ is the Highest value this ever reached and surely there will be more to come in the future .
