I have to add i started growing up in the Vancouver area of Canada.
and going all the way back to when i was 5 years old i was getting picked on.
that led to a lot of fights more and more as i grew up.
i think a major reason why ?
Is because i am tall.. 6 foot 4 as a teen and on the thin side.. so i was a target everywhere i went.
And having been the new guy at a lot of schools didn't help.

I don't want people out there to think i am violent maniac.. just that i learned to stick up for myself.
That assault with a weapon thing was 3 guys attacked me so i went after them one by one not an hour later.
I stuck up for myself.

When i was like 13 yrs old i was in a construction site with 2 friends and my buddy mouthed off some comment
and a guy walking by said hey punks don't skate-board in there get out !
before i knew what was going on the guy walked over (a half drunk 20yr old)
And smashed me hard in the mouth.. giving me a fat lip and a small chip in my front teeth.
I totally didn't see it coming and i had not said one damn word.. at any point.
Once again in my life i was standing there minding my own business then BAM attacked !

Long story short i learned as a teen that predators out there look for who they think is the weakest.. and prey on them.
But they never realize that being picked on a lot gives a you TON of experience LOL
And you also start to get tired of it.. and get mad.. REAL MAD !!!

These days i see little shits who watched UFC on TV and they seem to think that qualifies them to be a tough guy.
All i know is i paid my dues.. many fat lip's.. many chipped teeth and many broken bones in my hands (prob 5 times)
I have never been ko'd and never lost a fight.. i let a gang attack me before but that is it.
People think a lot if your polite and friendly your a push over and then screw you around.
Think twice who you screw over.. never know who will snap and go ballistic LOL

It is difficult to go around and tell people about cryptocoins as many people will think you are crazy. We have to be patient. When big companies adopt cryptocoins, the public will slowly follow and use them.

And actively avoiding mentioning them at all to the public.

Because nobody really wants to hear tomorrow's news today.

Especially attributing it as 'disruptive' is just not the right angle imo. Sure 'disruptive' works when it's some new way to take in caffeine or alcohol. 'Disruptive' is great marketing for sneakers.

But as a monetary tool, 'disruptive' is problematic.

Bitcoin has been marketed as 'disruptive' so long now that that's really what people see it as. Blockchain seems like a new approach to marketing. Hopefully it won't be heralded as 'disruptive' or, at all, really.

I wouldn't call my screwdriver 'disruptive'. It does what it does and that's that. I don't feel particularly overwhelmed every time I open my tool box, so why should I feel any different when I load up a blockchain-based wallet?

I have done a bit but nothing that would effect things on a big scale or would have a real effect on crypto. It is rather hard to really get people in to crypto because most of the coins (except btc) turn out to be scams or they just die off. That doesn't really leave the best first impression for someone entering the scene.
So what i did was introduce players into the HYPER servers. (Where users get points that can earn HYPER for playing and then introduced them to game-shops that use HYPER (and they offer discounts when you pay with hyper). This felt like the best way to introduce it to the players, as the coin is tailored towards them also.
I wouldn't really call it a contribution but its something at least.

There are 2 coins that soon will be able to be used on every social media platform globally, one if them is bitcoin and the other one i wont name because people think im advertising but it also uses the bitcoin blockchain. This is great for adoption.

For a couple of years I promoted cypto as a disruptive tech and as my secondary business...
(Arbing illiquid NYSE niches and Forex has been my primary business for 20 years)...
But the last few months I've completely dropped any mention of any association with crypto...
Since it's a virtual admittance that one is shady... and involved with unsavory scams kinda like pumping junior gold stocks.

Scores of Bitcoin related business have been busy scubbing all mention of crypto from their promos...
And rebranding themsleves as "blockchain" startups... forget about the spike in BTC... this is a very bad sign.

I try to talk about it as much as I can. I cant really lead them to these forums, just because of people like Spoetnik around. This level of toxicity should be banned in my opinion. For the most part people who want to start using bitcoin don't know really what to do with it after they have acquired them. Much less if they would own any altcoins. This forum would be a perfect gateway for those people. But this shithole has nothing but scammers written everywhere.
I myself have a pretty thick skin for this shit, but it's quite hard for the average person to do anything in cryptoland if every clickbait ends up being a scam. If they're new to being scammed on the internet, then this is pretty shit news for them.

We need to create a community that promotes cryptocurrency without the toxicity and scam that we see here. However that will take atleast 5 years minimum to develop.
