I made it after bosian started the poll, and so dit Maconi with his

Logo 2 for sure. Good job Probeer.
I played around with mine a bit. I searched for "Wheat" textures and one similar to Probeer's popped up so I slapped that in there just for comparison's sake.
I also purposefully left 2 different gold tones in it just to get opinions about which is better, if either.
So is this any better or worse than the original? What kind of background should I be going for? What kind of colors or gold tones should I be using? Should I keep the GRA border or just use grain logos all the way around? Should I leave the grain icons hollow with a border like that or make them more solid?
I don't care about "winning" I'm just having fun lol. Been forever since I've played around with Photoshop.

One of them is without the grain field coin centre background thingy, so it looks less complex.
#1 is the best by far.
#2 is good, but can't be used commonly. It's too complex.
