What about Android?

Most of people who got scammed lost their BTC on shady exchanges, how's OS relevant in this case?

after I use Windows, I have been robbed and now I switched to Android, whether the risk will be higher?
Why not buy a hardware wallet ?

where can I get it? I do not know about the hardware wallet  Undecided
Hardware wallets like Trezor are effective in stopping malware since there are currently no designed for it and they have anti keylogger features. IMO it is a good investment for huge amount of BTC. For small amounts go for paper wallets generated on offline computer.

ohh yeah I've heard it, even once there is one of the web when first launching Trezor giveaway.

quite expensive? like its hard to get it in my country
I would say its expensive for someone storing a tiny Bit of bitcoin but a wise investment of someone storing a hundred or thousand of Bitcoin. Its worth noting that it is not waterproof, though water resistant. It may cause damage to your device since it isn't 100% waterproof. Water will eventually go inside due to high water pressure if submerged for a long time.

yes it is very suitable for large investors, which saves 100btc up.

if like me just looking for free and do not necessarily BTC monthly income, no need to buy it
Or just get a trezor and use multiple passwords and pin. An easy one for spending and revealing if you are robbed and a harder one for savings. If it's ever stolen just reload on a new trezor.

it costs only 30 Dollars. you dont need hundreds or thousands of Bitcoin to use that.  Lips sealed

Trezor cost $119, not 30 dollars(correct me if im wrong). It is pretty expensive if you want to store 1BTC safely, a paper wallet generated offline would be fairly secure. If you own 10-1000BTC, trezor would be a better investment.

Do you even know what "robbed" means?

It means that somebody points a gun at your head and tells you to give him all your money. What you are refering to is simple theft nothing else.

if you use a good antivirus and antimaleware and dont click on every shit link you will never lose 1 BTC, even with Windows.

but even that is too complicated for the average joe. so there must be more hardware-wallets and mutlisig transactions:

Nope. Never been robbed.
I use a Macbook as my "hot" wallet, but it's password protected twice, and encrypted.
So I think I am safe.

Given how many topics appear in the forum about people getting robbed, I wanted to throw a POLL to get some stats here. Thanks for participating.

Not everyone on the forum gets robbed because of system hack. Most of the times its a scam they fall prey to.

I have not been robbed for BTC but whatever OS you use, you should not install any unreliable or untrusted software and beware of the websites you access as any flaw in the security of your browser or OS, you can lose you money.

Nope. In fact, I created my own 3rd layer of encryption using ultrasound waves. I won't go through the details unless you sign an NDA.
