The BTC I bought via a standing buy order at $12 during the crash are gone, as I expected, since they announced the rollback.  My cash & BTC  balances are correct, matching the pre-crash amounts.

On the log page, there are a small # of logins, all around the same time, from an IP address I don't recognize.

I'm curious about the strange IP, but since I changed my password, and the new one is super long and crazy complicated, I'm not worried about it.

I am satisfied with the information presented to me so far.

Mine shows a very small difference... so small that I'm not sure if I'm just remembering incorrectly.

I thought I had 9.98 btc, but my balance is showing as 9.8 btc.

Other.  I have slightly more in USD and BTC - because it appears mtgox don't calculate the fees properly.
They're truncating and/or rounding at some point - so sometimes they effectively charge less than 0.65%

This is all well and good while it works in our favour - but it doesn't bode well for the trustworthiness of their system.

I find this very interesting, indeed a remark on the consistency of their system, although these are certainly extraordinary circumstances to say the least, well spotted julz.

I lost the btc I bought for $1 during the crash

I had trades reverted that i made at 12 after the event; Reverted, rolledback, i suppose you could say lost; But by right those coins were stolen, even if you decided to sell low, that panic sell was caused by something artificial and illegal within the system itself and i really believe all trades made after the event are invalid to a large degree, large enough to warrant this rollback.

Mine looks right, voted 'appear to have lost nothing'.

I lost the btc I bought for $1 during the crash

What did you expect?  Those coins you bought at $1 were effectively stolen goods.  If that happened in the real world, you'd be out the goods AND your money.  Every transaction from the time the dumping started should be eliminated - nothing you bought or sold after that point is "valid".

I too bought some before I knew it was a hack.  At the time I thought it was someone cashing out.  Those transactions are of course reversed.  Would've been nice, but...

Consistant good results so far, now if Mt Gox can just make good on getting us back to the point of withdrawing depositing and trading I may begin to consider starting to trust them again... maybe.

Also (due to the fact that its now a meme) Option two can also be expressed as:

fuck you mtgox

"Basics Of Generational Dynamics" - Look it up!
Great idea for this poll - It'll be nice to get a good sampling of the community, we'll definitely discuss the results of the survey on BitTalk if a decent number of people chime in (probably at least 50)

XMR = BTC in 2010. Rise chikun.
Thanks so much for posting this - as for me, I've logged in to https://claim.mtgox.com/status.html and can see all my bitcoins - none were taken, and I don't see any suspicious IP's that attempted to access my account.  This just increases my respect for MagicalTux & Mt. Gox, and how they've handled this difficult situation.  However, the recent security breach at Mt. Gox is drawing BTC traders to other exchanges, I'm sure, and will help to decentralize the exchanges, and increase healthy competition in the world's first truly free market Smiley

Now, I am quite interested to see what kindof breakdown we will have.

I imagine that the vast vast majority have lost nothing whatsoever. And if this poll shows that fact alone then fantastic.
Since its a rollback even if any hacker made off with some money we will all be going back to a balance before the incident, am I Right? So any loss incurred will be borne by MtGox.

I'm just hoping this willl give us all a sense of how people have been affected thus far, and again hopefully show a positive result.

You can change your response based on the outcome of the appeal process if you've not yet Finished your claim.

EDIT: If you haven't checked your balances and log already, heres the link https://claim.mtgox.com/status.html thanks for reminding me zhalox!

Peace Out
