Congrats to palukritik, Yatsan and geophphreigh for winning the Coldkey contest. Not often do we see art/design contest in Bitcointalk. This makes it all the more special. Thank you yogg for such a wonderful contest. For all those who could not make it to the top 3, we should not worry about it. We might or might not have done our best but we were all part of this special contest and we all did make it special and there is no denying it. Congrats and wishing all the very best on whatever work you do. Not many can proudly say that we participated in a design contest at Bitcointalk.

Thanks a lot for your kind words jayquar. Smiley

I like black and clean designs. I would have voted no. 8 had it not been disqualified. Should remove from the list to avoid confusion. Anyway, done casting my vote.

Thanks a lot for your vote Smiley

I looked a little closer... plvbobo is debonaire217 which means he also made multiple entries... And merited himself https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.52958955

I don't normally follow forum drama but it's pretty obvious.

Voting looks off to me

Someones gaming this IMO

Viz

I have that feeling as well.
Brand new accounts cannot vote (I tested it) but I know some people hoard lots of accounts as well on Bitcointalk so .. not really sure of what's going on.
Well, let's see what happens and how it ends. Cool

plvbobo's design was taken from here: https://www.freepik.com/premium-photo/black-cyber-circuit-future-technology-concept-background_4121262.htm
As far as I can tell, you need to pay for a commercial license to use that image.

Pretty dishonest of the user to do that. I haven't finished an exhaustive search of the other images but I suspect there are a few others that may have done something similar. Roll Eyes

Thank you much Sat0shisGhost for sharing this.

Yes, we require original content and this is clearly explicited in the contest rules.
We cannot use this entry.

I am sorry plvbob0070 but we have to disqualify you totally from our event.

Very difficult for me to choose between n°2 and n°9. They are really different, but for me those two are the best ones.
I think I will wait a day or two... hoping that I won't forgot to vote Grin

No clear winner emerging as yet and that is a good sign. I voted for my own design (#6) though I liked a few others better.
I would have preferred either of my 2nd or 3rd entry instead of the one shortlisted for the poll but since it was the Coldkey team that shortlisted the designs for the poll, I can't complain about it. I believe the samples printed look way better than the photos show it to be.

After the warning that people can vote in Ivory Tower no matter the rank, I think everyone who votes should aslo state his vote officially in this thread, then the chance of altering the results with alts is almost zero.

I voted for nr. 9

First off, awesome idea doing this Yoggy.  Lot of fun for the community.

Artists, every one of you guys did a great job here! I'm a big crypto card collector and I'd love to own any of these cards!  That said, I voted #9.  I feel like it embodies btalk the best and is just super fn cool!  There are several cards here besides this one I would love to see being made, but there can only be one..so best of luck artists!

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
Voted, but it's a secret for the public I guess just yogg can see it. The design looks cool when it has been made into cards. Good luck to the future winners  Grin

I understand that my design is not that good, actually I am not expecting that I will be in the list when yogg posted the list of the qualifying members. Maybe you are right many of my friends and supporters here in forum are gonna vote for me regardless of my design. Personally, If I am not on the list I will vote for @plvbobo design. But, surprisingly not a lot of members are voting for him.

@Yogg If I ever win the 1st place just give it to others, I am just actually hoping for 3rd or if lucky enough 2nd place. I know that my design is not that good  Smiley

Goodluck to all!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Thankyou sir!  Cheesy I'm very happy a lot of you guys are voting for my work even though me, myself is not satisfied with my work. lol

Hey Yatsan, thanks for your comments. Smiley
I appreciate that you are so accommodating.
Thanks a lot for participating in the contest !

If you win, please provide to me a template of your design without : QR codes, BTC address, AuthKey, Serial number, Denomination.

You should be proud ! Your work is great and you shouldn't feel downgraded whatsoever. Smiley
The spirit of what we try to achieve is to grasp what members prefer, collectively, as a community.
I understand that there might be some smaller communities under that big Bitcointalk banner and this is not a problem, really.

We want to make this event the fairest for everyone. In a way so there are equal chances for every participant.
When narrowing down entries to make this poll, we didn't really watch who made the submission but rather much focused on the artwork.

I have checked it, and "Brand new" accounts are unable to cast a vote in the current poll.
This alone makes the current poll right and fair.

Congrats to those selected participants.
I already voted one of them, yeah, it's hard to choose one of them because all of them were a pretty cool and nice design.

Congrats both you guys and thank's @yogg. I'll wait for that in the auction.

Thanks sheenshane ! I'm glad that you enjoy that event. Smiley
We will produce Coldkeys with the winning design, and serials from 1 to 10 will be put aside for auction.

Those Coldkeys will be available for purchase during one month after the anniversary.
The price per unit shouldn't exceed 15€.
Our retail price is particularly low, as we want most of the Bitcointalk users to be able to grab a souvenir about a certain place, at a certain moment. Smiley

This is our way to give back to Bitcointalk what this place has brought to us !
Thanks so much to everyone here. We love you all ! <3

I  never saw yatsan before, and I voted for his design

I prefer more discrete designs and I liked his. I was in doubt between 1 and 3.

Free Bitcoins Every Hour!
For me, all entries deserve to be favorite designs. But unfortunately, there is 1 vote only.

I voted for 5th Entry [palukritik].

Reasons :
1. All components are clearly visible
2. Looks nice with a simple background

Warning: Everyone has their own view, so no need to debate!  Grin
