If I had 100% trust in exchanges it'd be Poloniex hands down.  Love their platform and their UI, but since I can't trust them as much as I'd like I trade on Bittrex.  My experience with Bittrex is positive, I just wish they had a bit more features like:
  • Profit & Lose
  • Dark UI
  • Margin Lending
  • Official Mobile App

Actually it depends on the coin that I'm holding and most of the coins are in the bittrex so I usually uses that exchange. But sometimes I prefer hitbtc as the payment are much more smaller than bittrex. Actually, at first I'm wuite hesitant tonuse hitbtc as I heard many bad feedback but I still try it out and good thing it worked smoothly.

If USD/BTC exchange, I'd go with Bitstamp or Kraken since I'm verified in both exchanges and I have high confidence in using their platform. Also, I find their GUI easy to navigate with and their support is very responsive as well, For crypto exchange, I'd go with Poloniex since Bittrex is acting strangely right now and showing signs of Gox. I'd stay away from them until everything is sorted out.

For multiple coins users and anyone, bitrex and Polenix are best option for any traders. If you want USD usable trading site means all the sites will gives the trading option to convert your coins for US dollars.
To exchange the bitcoin to dirhams, I always go with the localbitcoins traders since I know some of people in local place itself.
Escrow enable in the trade gives more confident to deal out bitcoins without any right.

I use Cryptopia most of the time.  I never had any problem with it in terms of money exchanging. Fast withdrawals and the site is user friendly.  I just wished that the developer will somehow do something about the site slow loading page especially when you are logging in.  I also use hitbtc but for small amounts only because I have heard that this site has trust issues  and that when yoy deposits large possible amounts after the exchange,  there will be problems when it comes to withdrawal.

Hey Fellow Traders! Fantastic input thus far. Please feel to pick "other" if the exchange you use is not on the list, as well as to share this poll with others as well.

Happy Trading and have an incredible weekend!

Right now I'm using Poloniex. Never gave me any problems, despite some of that FUD when they decided to close the troll box, and had a lot of tickets without reply, etc. The fees are not very high, I like their loan service, you can get very good rates, specially when it's close to forks. I already manage to get them at 2%, which is great. Good experience overall for now, so I recommend it.

Yeah this is a nice survey, i have been using Poloniex for more than a year from now, and it has been the best exchange in where i have trade and exchanged some altcoins, poloniex works so quickly because there is a lot of volume in this exchange, all the altcoins are always in constant movement so it is impossible to your order to get stucked. Kraken is so good too, i haven't used it because it requires some verifications, and i dont like that kind of services, i prefer my annonimity instead of everything.

I like pools, they show what people think and what would they choose like better option. This pool is good, there are many exchangers now, and I'm interested to know which exchangers people from bitcoin talk uses the most.
I voted for bittrex like 75% other people, that is good to know that I'm on a right place. Recently I started to read about HitBTC, they listed many new ico coins from the start, I'm thinking about opening account there. I will watch this thread to see will anyone vote for them, and how will community rate them.

Hey Guys,

Take 2 seconds to answer a poll on what your favorite exchange platform is. Feel free to add your reasons for using them as well.

I am confident many fellow traders will gain from your valuable input and insight!

Cheers,

CWT

I’ve been using Poloniex and Bitfinex but Bitfinex is no longer supporting American customers. Poloniex has been good but with the support issues i’ve heard about, I may look into using Bittrex. There seems to be a lot of people that use it right now. Either way, I’m keeping most of my cryptocurrencies off of any exchanges because I don’t trust any of them. I just have it there to do a little trading.

Currently I use the Waves DEX (decentralized exchange) although I actually barely trade. Decided to remove my funds from centralized exchanges a few weeks ago when circumstances around Bittrex got a bit odd. Bittrex was the sole exchange I used throughout 2016 and the majority of 2017, before that I had the bulk of my funds on BTC-e.com and some on Cryptsy.

Bittrex is by far the most reputable.
Poloniex used to be there but this year there has been
some "suspicious" activity reported by some users and
a lot of people migrated to Bittrex and elsewhere.

I use Bittrex and GDAX also and to a lesser extent Poloniex.

For me, I go for Poloniex and Bittrex.

I mainly used Poloniex after switching from Bitfinex. No doubt one of the good exchange even I read a lots about having bad experience to this exchange. But since some of the coins are not present here I decided to take a ride to Bittrex and then that's it Im using mostly Bittrex now.

I don't have any problem/s encountered yet to these exchanges so Im giving them 8 stars out of 10.

every exchanger have their own advantage,
but the easiest way for me to do the trade is on Bittrex, everything is very smooth and i always satisfied with their system.
their withdrawal and deposit are fast, only their fees when withdrawing something is 'quite' many if we're comparing it to others.
i think they did that in order to process the transaction as soon as possible, but who knows?
other than that they're selectively choose every project strictly and it's very hard for them to get listed if they did not have an existing/running project.
also i heard they're backed by SEC which is made me felt a little bit safe to keep some of my money in there.

Same for me. The experience has been great and I've never had any problems with their API. I usually trade through trading application which require API codes. In the past I mainly used poloniex but I left due to d'the lagg and the poor API experience.

I started using Binance.  I bought some Binance coin because owning it cuts the transaction fee in half.  Also, they'll use the Binance coin to pay the transaction fee instead of the coin you're trading.

I have used some of the exchanges listed, so I must say that Bittrex for me. And just like what iamTom123 said, it looks like they are really trying to comply with KYC/AML right now, maybe they have learned the lessons during the BTC-e who has been seized by the US authorities of suspecting in cooperation with money laundering. Withdrawal and deposit are seamless as well. I also used HitBTC for some of the tokens I purchased on I also like their services. Polo used to be the go trading exchanges, but lately they have a lot of complaints from their customers so I assuming that they have lost a lot of customers ever since.

I am the first one who voted of your poll and I am choosing Bittrex because of some factors that impressed me with it. One, it is based in USA and though it can also be a disadvantage the thing is that they are really complying with all proper requirements and they are working closely with regulators to make sure that things are above board so they can continue doing business. Second, the site is easier to navigate and understand unlike wit other exchanges where the learning curve can take some time. With Bittrex as long as you know how to read the navigation can be a breeze. Third, the site never give me any headache so far and their support is quite good. I am then wishing that Bittrex would continue what they are doing and any improvement should be rebounding to the benefits of its many members worldwide.
