Biden is the stand alone candidate for the Democratic Party.

If the elections go ahead in November 2020 then will Trump be known as a one term President? Will Biden manage to win?

Interesting battle between the incumbent Trump who is the oldest ever President of the USA (will be 74 years old after a week) and one of the oldest challengers for the post in Biden who will be 78 years old a couple of weeks after the 3rd November 2020 election.

Biden couldn't commit to running for a 2nd term on a debate stage which is troubling. We haven't had a President in recent history that has refused to run for a 2nd term and who knows if Biden's gonna bid for reelection if he wins. 77 is old. He isn't even elected to a first term yet. To be fair Trump is around 73 so for some reason America has an obsession with nominating old people. Obama was a young first term senator and he was the exception.

Not old. Smart. Trump is smart. Biden isn't.     Cool

It is looking like the end of the road for sanders now. I never thought he would gain so much momentum and would be getting this far. I thought Warren might have had a chance but I wrote off both Biden and Sanders, I was wrong on all of them.

Now is probably the time for Sanders to make a deal with Biden. If he backs Biden and pulls out of the race he might get Secretary of State position providing Biden wins the race to the Whitehouse in November. I think with them both being in their 70s this is the last chance for them and both will not be fighting for the nominee position again.

This is literally the end of this. Biden is going to win (bar some sort of illness, major scandal, etc) The only reason I see Sanders staying in is to be able to get something out of the administration, or to get Biden to change certain policies that he'll implement and he can tell his supporters he did something.

Sanders (IMO) is a little too old to be running for President again, so this is probably his last chance. He probably is hoping for some sort of extraordinary circumstances to help him out here. Or a cabinet role, like I said before. VP is off the table, as Biden has said that HE WILL pick a woman to be his VP.

Biden has it. Even Sanders is tossing his strength to Biden. They both are like thieves, ready to plunder an ignorant American culture.

Biden wins Florida, Illinois and Arizona and with a huge lead it appears he will be reaching the 1991 delegates number first if the race continued.

Sanders is facing calls for him to drop out to give Biden the chance to start working on the November Presidential elections preparation now.

@squatz1 I’ll second that as I too believe that Sanders campaign is coming to an end, but he has earned my respect for fighting for so long despite knowing that the entire party was always rallying against him. Now I believe he’ll bow out soon and the entire party will rally behind Biden, and if Biden can get Sanders on board then Trump will have a major problem to deal with. What do you’ll think of this Biden and Sanders reach some kind of compromise, and they attack Trump together won’t it hurt Trump’s vote share?.

I mean, if we can elect two presidents (the Bush's) knowing that their father/grandfather (Prescott Bush - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2004/sep/25/usa.secondworldwar) supported Hitler in WW2 in a big way, who cares which of these two peons (Sanders, Biden) gets into office? It's American stupidity that makes Americans even think about such crooks as Sanders and Biden.

Cool

And yet his son almost dies fighting in that war. Really?

It's not what you don't know that fucks with you. It's what you know that ain't so that simply messes with your thinking.

The interesting thing is, that one link isn't the only link.

The point is, you don't take the son of a traitor, no matter how good he looks, and place him in the top position in the country... except if you are completely nuts... like most of America.

Biden will be it.

Most people don't look at details. All they see is a name. Both Trump and the Dem leaders have been throwing the Biden name around for months and years... to say nothing about his former vice-presidency. People have seen it and will vote it.

Look at all the bad Russia stuff against Biden and his son. But nobody has arrested him/them, so it's all fake news. If Biden can overcome all this, he will make a strong President.

If Biden got rich by being a crook, and if he got away with it, why can't we get rich right along with Biden?

To be the man, you gotta beat the man...... WOOOOO
What in your opinion are the advantages Biden has over Sanders (or Sanders has over Biden) ?

No way the Democratic Party will let Bernie be the nomination.  It was no coincidence that when Sanders started to pull away from the pack the more moderates drop out and endorse Biden.

Full disclosure.  I am a Republican.  But I think the Democratic Party did Bernie dirty last go around.  I will have to say that I respect Bernie in that he has had the same message for over 40 years.  He does not change his message based on his audience or who he is talking to.

Biden is more relatable to the average Joe.  Pun intended.

To be fair, in other places and times, the Marxist dialectic has been exactly what related to the average Joe. Soviet Russia late 19th century to early 20th century. As an example.

Still the case with America's young.
