He settled that issue I don't see why there should be prejudice against him for it. Life's too short to hold grudges for shit that's in the past.
Then why ban people? Give them xx days suspended and then forget about it.
That is exactly what happens actually, bans are usually temporary. Would probably be more accurate to call them probations but that's kind of condescending. Once someone returns from a ban I hold no ill will for any of them, they did their time and hopefully are a better poster for it.
