At a time when bitcoin was mined by your average joe, i would vote yes yes yes i would live in that country. It is not though is it so if we accept that we have just gave up one private corporation printing money for us to a different set of corporations mining coins for us, very similar and i am against both because they have to much control. I don't really care now and i very much doubt it will ever be adopted as the official currency of any country. Why would it?

Well, it depends... I wouldn't move to syria if they made bitcoin their official currency.
i think it depends on which country would like to accept bitcoin as their official currency, if Norway will accept it then i will move it there to live. Grin

If that mean one day I can buy a house for 10 BTC but a week later 10 BTC buys only two rolls then I'm not sure Smiley.

Government will be held accountable by the blockchain. Incompetent boobs won't last long in the administration.

Consumers will think twice on their consumption, give mother nature a break.

It's a win-win.

As much as I love bitcoin I don't think it should remain as a alt currency, because then there will be a power of balance. I always think of Bitcoin as a dessert, we all love to eat desserts, but main course is the key and it should remain fiat. But I am not saying that Bitcoin shouldn't get the worldwide recognition, It should.

My first vote- Absolutely yes!  Cheesy

Would love to hear communities' thoughts on it  Cheesy

I think global adoption of Bitcoin as a single currency is coming soon  Grin

Everyone here is likely to say yes, it is a dream to have a country running on bitcoin, the government would opperate via donations most likely.  Public services funding would be open on the blockchain, money wouldnt get wasted.

Being pro-bitcoin I voted 'Never'.

I don't like idea of BTC being enforced on anyone. I prefer it as currency of choice, so anyone is free to join in (or not).

Not a hope in hell.  I think it would saturate it too much.  I love the "What the hell is that" response I get from people when I mention Bitcoin.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
i dont think i would with the current state of bitcoin... The volatility wouldnt really make it work.. However, with more people using it, i think i would Smiley

Sure! It might be a lot of fun if you think about it. Everybody scanning qr codes in stores, phones being sold with a preinstalled Bitcoin wallet.
The country that adopts it first will become the land of opportunities Smiley

Yeah, It will be great to see  a country with features like that  Cheesy

I think it is difficult to be realized, but if it happens I want to stay in this country because they do not have to worry about money will be torn, dirty and wet.
