We'll likely to see new ATH but not right after the halving. It'll take months before the demand increases enough for the price to reach above $1200. I'll say the price will reach above $1000 in early 2017.
I think the bitcoin price will rise gradually to 2400 in the next 24 months. The slower the rise, the more sustainable the price.
You have loads of confidence in the price, isn't it? Reaching anything over $2000 requires soo much solid buying power, that it will make sure dumps can't eat through the support levels. It will take more than 2 years to come that far.

Reaching a new ATH isn't really a problem once we are a few years away from now.

Sure, that would be best for the bitcoin, slow and steady grow or even stable price with not too much fluctuations, but considering that I have experienced previous halvening, total absence of logic, brute trading, I can say that ATH will happen in a couple of days, not years
