43 days passed. Nothing changed. Not a single response.

If you need trouble, go with poloniex.

what Polo turned scam, wow.  I knew this stuff was going to happen, is why I never trusted exchanges.

But you do fully trust a random stranger on the internet who has zero verifiable proof we can check, over a multi-million dollar exchange? I'm not saying that poloniex is good, or bad, but come on man.

Use your brain for once. There would be more then 2/3/4/5 complaints if poloniex went rogue with all their funds..

I have read more accusations and it seems more like a support problem than the exchange itself. A lot of people had to wait months to get a reply which is obviously not good but I don't think it necessarily means they will scam anyone.

Actually, it is a kind of scam because this is not a transparent act and I really do not know what is going to happen. Uncertainty is not something that customers deserve.

This guy (XinXan) is probably a  member of Poloniex Team,do not listen to him, ignore him !

Poloniex will probably exit scam ,A lot of people have left poloniex to avoid this  , you should do the same thing

no I'm sure he is not , many users here blindly defend poloniex cause they had good experience with the site but that doesn't mean that other members are having the same experience too
me personally I was affected by the bad behavior of their support system , I had an open thread and some people were defending poloniex without even reading the full story

I'm not defending anything, jesus. I just said I use poloniex myself and I was interested in the accusation. How many false accusations are here, plenty. Now seeing the ticket evidence there is something weird going on but then again we can't know for sure what he has been doing, although a response from their support would be appreciated.

Poloniex is just a crypto mafia and I just wanted to tell other people what happened to my account just to create awareness about Poloniex. Please just stay away from this exchange and use a hardware wallet.

many exchanges do not respond to their customers 'support tickets and do not solve their customers' problems, but this is because there are no inspections done by the authorities and these exchange companies do not even have offices, that is, we need the intervention of the authorities to impose the law, punish the exchange for their acts

I use poloniex.

be careful when using polo

Why what's going on, I haven't seen anything serious against them? What other exchanges are trustworthy, they all seem borderline a scam these days. There are scam accusations against all of them basically.

I just dont know what to think of these accusations. I have used polo, trex, nova and cryptopia without any issues whatsoever. Yet again and again I see these scam accusations that look legit which I find troubling. I get the feeling that govt is cracking down on these exchanges behind the scenes and as a result we are seeing a lot of locked accounts.
Several years ago a site called stockpair.com (a trustworthy binary options trading site) had to kick all of their US based traders off their site due to regulation updates regarding BO trading. Those outside of the US could continue trading. After experiencing this I wonder if the same thing is happening to crypto trading sites.

I don't know, a lot of the times accusations are made by people who know they fucked up and want to retaliate against the exchange. OP hasn't provided any more info or photos to prove that his account was locked or that he didn't get any response from the support team.

man I had a terrible experience with poloniex in past , all I could do was waiting till they finally replied and it took over 2 months
here is a link to my story https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/resolved-poloniex-isnt-being-professional-at-all-with-me-1942358

but when poloniex froze my account they opened a ticket for me , so did they do that for you or just locked your account without giving you any reason ??
also not sure if locked account means frozen , cause in my case it was frozen

try giving us more details , but in general I'm sure that waiting is all you can do

are you mining directly to them? Some exchanges dont like that.

I dont know if thats a valid reason, but just a thought.

Hi,

I have nothing to hide. I'm just a simple miner and I do not act against terms of services. I don't even regulary trade.

Here is my ticket number : #445475

I also uploaded screenshot of my ticket : https://imgsafe.org/image/8aeea0c1f8

Is this accepted as evidence? I can provide any information you wish. This really happened to me and if we can not call it scam PLEASE tell me what should we call it?

I call it SCAM. Sad, but true. Same thing can happen to you anytime, there is no guarantee and the worst thing is you'll never know what is the cause of this.

Best wishes,

I don't know, there are plenty of threads like yours from different websites claiming the website is a scam and it usually turns out the user was a scammer/hacker/cheater. If you really contacted them and they didn't respond, you should provide proof otherwise there is no reason for me to believe you. It seems to me that you know why the locked your account but I will wait because I use poloniex.

I'm having issues with Poloniex and I'm really tired of this cruelty.

I'm not able to access my verified account since 34 days and I really don't know what to do. My account is locked without any explanation or warning.

I created a ticket on Poloniex support system using my account email address but I didn't hear from them for 34 days.

During last month, I tried to send them a couple of tweets and send a couple of messages through their support system but nothing changed.

I sent my photo ID, photo, passport as an attachment to the same support ticket just to speed up the process and it did not change anything.

I got 1500 LBC on my account and it is really frustrating. There is nothing suspicious with my account, I'm just a simple miner who mines LBC all the time. I don't even trade regularly. 1500 LBC is not really important since its just the sum of my four-day mining.

I believe every verified legal citizen from all over the world deserves an explanation about their own account status. It is ok to suspend illegal accounts or suspicious accounts but it is not acceptable not to give a proper explanation.

What do you suggest? What should I do? What can you call it if it is not a fraud? Poloniex is just a crypto mafia and I just wanted to tell other people what happened to my account just to create awareness about Poloniex. Please just stay away from this exchange and use a hardware wallet.

Best wishes,
