it seems they are insolvent

https://cointelegraph.com/news/rumors-of-insolvency-circulate-among-users-of-bitcoin-exchange-poloniex-support-slow#

withdrawn your funds from Poloniex as long as you can !
That article, and your response, don't make a lot of sense. Why are you jumping to that conclusion? Just because some hateful toxic people are screaming insolvency doesn't mean that any of it is true. They're most likely disgruntled ex Polo users who hate Polo and are trying to destroy it with baseless rumors such as this.

Please people, base your conclusions on FACTS, not fantasy, hate or paranoia. The FACTS are that Polo's support is terrible and so is their communication. They only communicate through their announcements (and twitter, but it's the same info). They should dedicate one employee to this forum to act as a community manager who can address questions and issues. Kraken is a great example of how it should be done.

Kraken  and Poloniex = 2 exchangers without any financial license(NO MSB).  I am wondering how  you can support such companies. They are the same as BTC-e.

unlicensed exchangers are like a plague. they do a lot of harm to this e-currency, called BTC.

same here, too bad a service I have to say. That's I gradually move to Bittrex, Bittrex is all good except that the withdrawal fee is much higher than Poloniex. I'm trying to find other good exchanges in terms of security and reasonable fees

People need to FREAKIN STOP SPAMMING POLONIEX SUPPORT TICKET SYSTEM with their PEANUTS-RELATED BULLSHIT !!!!
And start realizing they bring their support ticket system to its knees.
Poloniex got buried in tens of thousands of support tickets, 90% of them probably related to deposit and withdrawal amounts of less than $50.

Real investors and real traders who want to do some serious trading (amounts greater than 1,000 USD) are suffering because of this shit,
as they need to wait just as long for having their support tickets processed. And they incurr much higher time-related risks and possible losses due to delays.

I wish Poloniex would simply FREAKIN BAN and/or IGNORE all traders who keep less than 1,000 USD balance or make deposits which are significantly less than that.
90% of traders there who probably account for 1% of trading volume (combined) are bringing Poloniex to its knees with all their stupid mistakes and all their bullshit.

At the VERY LEAST, Poloniex should priorize the processing of the support tickets based on each account worth at present (or peak account worth within the last 3-6 months).
Poloniex, if you are reading this: IT'S LONG OVERDUE TO PRIORIZE THE SUPPORT TICKETS ACCORDING TO ACCOUNT VALUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

During the time you spent writing in this thread, OP, you could have made that money back doing any number of things. 3 ETC? Come on, now!
Ok give me your tricks, how do you do 3etc in 5 minutes without any cash to trade?

Huh....So how much money do you think is legit for any exchange to not credit.... 1BTC?. 0,1BTC? or ANY amount above the minimum deposit allowed there? even if it is one cent?

And thank you, the fact is Poloniex is one of the first plateform in the world they are at least supposed to be be able to do a 3etc transaction without crash between their own plateform accounts.
When you ask so much fee, this kind of problem cannot happen and technical support one month+ reply is not possible

Hey,

So to clarify, 1.05+ etc is lost between my two poloniex accounts (was trying to unlock by myself haha^^)
And the rest (2.20 etc) from mining is lost in the space.

Both have complete status, and should appear in my poloniex balance, the blockchain confirms my balance and the blockchain does not lie:
httsp://gastracker.io/addr/0x2d6916a225aad1b71214ba51dbb782bf589f6a08
https://gastracker.io/addr/0x6c129a8e37096b34854928b3763805d0c2a81973

So the problem is come from Poloniex 100%

I didn't have any problem with poloniex before, but the thing is the day when you have one, you will not be abble to do anything, you cannot contact them (call, post adress, support tickets, nothing is working) i tried everything.

All of the tickets i have made since the pb( 21june and we are the 28 of july) has not been read.
Now imagine, you make a transfer of 1000 BTC, YOU CAN LOOSE 2.6 Milion Dollar in the space without any explaination from poloniex.

I still have the same questions, what are you doing poloniex with my coins, and are there anyone in the company ?
I STILL DONT HAVE MY COINS, we paid a lot of money in fee, it's not acceptable to receive this kind of support.

Thanks in advance to give my coin back, it's now 1month 10 days problem i would love to have this few money to enjoy my hollidays, really not cool from you.

I am wondering that you had such problems with poloniex. I never had problems with withdraw or deposit. Use it also often for cheap btc transfer.
If a withdraw was pending, I had forgot to confirm via link in email. ETH to send made difficulties the last weeks on each transfer because of significant high traffic. Don't know, if it is ok now. So it has maybe nothing to do with poloniex, I think.
But I agree with you, that poloniex should answer support tickets to clarify or help out their users.

Keep your bitcoin or altcoins nowadays in whatever the exchange is and something that should be avoided at all costs. Never keep all your capital in these exchange houses.

Officially  Poloniex doesn´t use FIAT. you can´t make deposits nor withdrawals in fiat currency. Only cryptos including USDT. So unlike, for example Bitfinex that had issues with the banks they where using, polo shouldn´t have that.

So you say people should just mine BTC or trade it P2P? Stop trading at exchanges? As for my BTC, it was only trading and not using it as multicoin wallet. I went in with LTC, sold the LTC and wanted to get the BTC out. But it is stuck...
It wasn't really directed at you.  It was more to do with the fact that hundreds of millions of dollars are being stored in exchanges with very poor regulations that could be extremely irresponsible with people's money.

Personally, I try my best to look at topics on this forum, Reddit, Steemit and anywhere I can to find out whether an exchange is trustworthy before I consider joining it.  Even if they are not particularly trustworthy (no altcoin exchange that I can think of really is), there are plenty of exchanges that are functional and process withdrawals properly now.  In my case, I decided that Bittrex was the altcoin exchange I should use if I want to get withdrawals out, and fortunately I was right.

As for trading P2P, unfortunately the margins can be quite high.  I tend to avoid it too.

It's shocking that people still hold their coins on BTC and altcoin exchanges after Mt. Gox, Cryptsy and now most likely BTC-E.
