They can lie as much as they want but it doesn't change the fact that DGB does not have a decent volume in the exchange and it doesn't matter to investors since the of the total coins traded, only 1.59% are traded in Poloniex.

All is written here. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/markets/

poloniex has now lost its prestige, since hacking in 2015 and withdrawal cases that were not executed by poloniex, I have stopped trading at poloniex. because there are many irregularities there. and when this happens again silly things, just because the founder of DGB criticized the founders of TRON and BINANCE. they want to delete DGB from the exchange. This should be a good thing. because someone's developer corrects another developer. certainly, the founder of DGB has a good reason for his criticism.

Poloniex said that it would be delisting Digibyte (DGB) after its founder criticized TRON founder Justin Sun and Binance. Since then, however, the cryptocurrency remains listed on the exchange.

Last week, BeInCrypto reported that Poloniex would be delisting Digibyte (DGB) after its founder criticized exchanges and TRON’s founder, Justin Sun. Poloniex, which recently posted and then deleted its tweet to ‘buy TRON,’ took the initiative to announce that it would remove Digibyte from its exchange. Eight days have passed since this announcement, but Digibyte remains tradeable on Poloniex.

Okay so a few days ago, a stupid moron exchange named Poloniex has delisted Digibyte in their exchange.

But it seems that Digibyte is still not yet removed from Poloniex completely.

I am not a supporter of Digibyte (because I still want its founder to “shut the hell up” ranting about Changpeng Zhao and Justin Sun and focus on “mooning” the token itself), but Poloniex once again really disappointed me a lot.

First, they “delist” Digibyte because of the founder’s rants to Binance and TRON, but it was all a freakin’ lie! Poloniex fooled the hell out of us!

It seems that Poloniex’s public reputation is now affected due to their stupidity.

Someone in Poloniex will lose his reputation, or Digibyte had done a deal so they will not get delisted, we don't have the details if they have one, but if they don't want to lose their reputation they should keep their words or announce their deals if they have one.

You're right that asset is still listed on the exchange after purportedly being delisted due to the controversial comments from the developer of Digibyte, but I doubt this will affect their reputation and perhaps it was resolved somehow or was just plain hype to begin with

Yes, I have some Digibyte. Kind of a funny coin for me, I made my profits from it already in 2017, along with a bag of others, but for some reason I actually bought into the development roadmaps for them, so I ensured I kept aside some of those coins, DBG included. Practically worth nothing now, but just a reflection of every other alt.

Can't be bothered about Polo, left that platform AGES ago. Bittrex is where my DGB's likely to be kept some day;)

The drama isn't over yet lol Maybe the poloniex team is still thinking about the right time to delist the digibyte or there are already negotiations between the two parties regarding this matter. No one knows. We'll see the next game. On the other hand, he really imagined the words of the father digibyte against Justin and cz. Even though Jared felt right, I don't think it would be good to publish it to the public. Because it will cause complicated problems like now.

https://medium.com/poloniex/poloniex-delisting-policy-b2d1e244d011?
Quote
- Provide you with seven days advance notice before delisting an asset
- Give holders of the impacted assets at least 30 calendar days to withdraw their delisted assets
- Send email reminders during the period leading up to the withdrawal deadline
poloniex still seems to delay the delisting deadline because the withdrawal exodus still leaves more than 500 million DGB in poloniex, in other words there is no real panic to this day. Moreover, these dramas seem to be more detrimental to poloniex for reasons that look funny to the crypto community.

poloniex is an exchange that has been in great demand by traders up to very high volumes even though it was on the poloniex market before the birth of new markets, until now there are still many interested in poloniex exchange, I think this is what is meant by business political games so digibyte is still not deleted on poloniex

Wait, was this because they listed Tron? That makes me think that they have some special deals with Justin then. Damn, i wonder what Digibyte hodlers are thinking about their founder now. Not that he is to blame about any of this but damn.

I mean like, it was no surprise that Poloniex once again really disappointed us, and it happened quite a lot. They've been doing their stupid behaviour since ages ago Iirc.
I don't even remember when the last time I was using their market and I pretty much remember that dgb is quite popular especially in Poloniex since years ago.
Why would they want delist them again? Dgb has given them quite the funds through its transactions across the years.

So It looks like polo has to think twice before delisting dgb, which they haven't reach the conclusion yet, it seems.

I liked Poloniex back a couple of years age, but they no longer allow American customers. I know it’s the tax regulations but I wish they had not made that move. I think this exchange may struggle to stay relevant.

They didn't say when they will delist, they only announce they will but not the date when. The price of the coin didn't crash since the day they announced though. He was just trolling, DGB has considerable volume than any coins in polo. Justin had been doing stupid stunts that doesn't help his TRX nor his polo which he should have been move to that direction to provide good support form his supporters.

Poloneix is a dying exchange and they need to keep every shitcoins to attract users and volume. Digibyte is a gem for Polo. Digibyte is not in Binance for their listing row. We may never know the exact dialogue between the two teams but such rivaary would kill small projects like Digibyte and tarnish the image of exchanges like Binance.
A lot of user accounts are deleted without any specific reason, I personally switched to using binance because of the utilities binance brings.
The reputation of the polo exchange is severely downgraded and people are staying away from it. If polo did not have new policies to attract traders perhaps polo would soon disappear in the market.

As someone above me said they would delist and that means polo can or can't delist digibyte. as long as the CEO shows a good attitude and they will not delist the token. That has the different purpose when polo is not using "would".
there was a lot of people are still waiting for that to happen but that will not happen for sure.
POLO is taking another consideration before try to delist DGB as a crypto that has a good crypto council rating based on the SEC compliant.

OP,it seems you understood that statement, They said "They would delist" which means they might considering delisting not delisted digibyte from their exchange already.

Polonix already has bad reputation so this news will not anywhere near to the unresolved scam accusations against them. These things will happen when something owned by someone because they want to make benefits from spread news to manipulate prices.

Even Poloniex has lost its reputation for a long time and therefore is what I realized or found at least two or three years ago because of the many problems that have occurred there such as account freezing, etc. So with the new problems that exist today it is like another suggestion to leave the exchange because of its reputation which continues to decline and can be worrying, but as long as you are still comfortable using poloniex I think it does not matter as long as you are aware and ready with all the risks.

indeed makes sense because in that way the poloniex exchange place can still survive, maybe poloniex makes them the last place to make an exchange so that there is still hope to sell coins that are hit by a delete list.

I haven't followed this drama but this could be another attention maker. I still remember the days where poloniex is the one that dominates the other exchanges but it's all gone now. If they already made an announcement about delisting, they probably make another statement why is it that it's taking a long time before they remove DGB on their exchange.

Digibyte is a gem for Polo. Digibyte is not in Binance for their listing row. We may never know the exact dialogue between the two teams but such rivaary would kill small projects like Digibyte and tarnish the image of exchanges like Binance.
Yes, with a huge volume. This makes them still alive because of DGB and other popular alts listed there.

The main reason why Poloniex is yet to delist Digibyte is due to the fact that they came under fire and scrutiny by a lot of people for being biased due to the fact that Justin Sun funds Poloniex. DGB is listed on over 20 exchanges and none reacted the way Poloniex did. So maybe they were a little too quick with that announcement. Let's see what happens next
Yes, they are the only exchange to react like that and it looks like there’s a personal reason why Poloniex will delist Digibyte. No exact date for this one but this kind of action is not good for an exchange, Poloniex is a good exchange before but its slowly fading away when good exchanges takes over the market. So this might be the battle of the founder, and exchanges should not Interfere because its not their business anymore.

I haven't been following the poloniex drama, but their popularity and reputation had been declining for a long time before they got bought out and reorganized themselves.  This Justin Sun guy sounds like a complete idiot from everything I've read about him on bitcointalk.  He sort of reminds me of the CEO of Sears, who is driving that company into the ground by sheer stupidity.

Poloneix is a dying exchange and they need to keep every shitcoins to attract users and volume. Digibyte is a gem for Polo.
Yes and yes.  I don't hear *anything* about poloniex these days unless it's reports like this, and that didn't use to be the case a few years ago.  If binance doesn't have digibyte listed, then yeah, polo will hold onto that one tight, no matter how lousy a coin it is.
