The
I've read the "article". It's pure FUD. Literally EVERY exchange had the same problems around that time. And they still do. Also, how is being registered in Delaware suspicious? The article itself says that 60% of ALL fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware. So 60% of fortune 500 companies are scams? Total BS, they are incorporated there because it's cheaper for them. If you buy groceries from a supermarket that has the exact same products as another supermarket but is 10% cheaper, that's not shady, that's smart. Ugh, why am i even replying? *Shakes head*
most ironic, and at the same time funniest part is that I cannot argue with anything you said, especially since I am the writer of the article.... the suspicious part, as the article clearly states (too many times really, but i wanted to drive it home...), The suspicion and shadiness come from the lack of communication on the part of Poloniex.
If you throw in the delaware corporation, it is not that it is cheaper to form there, t is the lax laws regarding taxes, and in the Poloniex case, the fact that there is no contact info listed for the site owners.
of course, we know who the CEO is, but it does make it awfully convenient to have it set-up he way it is IF, and i cannot emphasize the IF here, IF it is some type of exit scam... Which i do not believe for one minute. The post they made to their site on may 16th caught my attention and and i was like, "WTF?" and i wrote it.
I am editing the article in a moment to challenge them to do the right thing and communicate with their users and the rest of the bitcoin world.... hopefully a lot of you will share the link, not for my ego or for the website it posted on to garner traffic, but simply for the Bitcoin community itself, so that we can try and prevent any more of the crap that has given bitcoin a bad rep in the past.
If we don't stand together, then there is no point i standing at all and it will only be a matter of time before the next scam artist comes along and says, "Hey, i will just rob Bitcoin users, they never do shit about it anyways." So give me 5 minutes from the time of this post and go read the update, share the link and gt peple to comment on it.. i can see the views in the backend, but no one else can. let othjers know this is important. A stand neds to be made against Bitcoin Company's doing as they please and not being held accountable.
