I've just been transferring BTC out with that damn $2,000 limit every day for quite awhile now.

I submitted level 2 about 4 weeks ago, but I no longer feel quite so ignored if you are going on 8+ weeks.

I was very tired the other night and made the mistake to transfer 2BTC to poloniex without being verified. To add insult to injury the transaction is unconfirmed more than 30 hours later.

I have provided the elements to get verified since then, but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. I can live with taking out 2000$/day.

However, what will happen with my deposit, when it is finally confirmed, since it's more than 4000$ ?

doesn't matter. there's no restriction on deposits. they've said they've no way of controlling that anyway so they don't worry about it. it's only withdrawals that are limited.

Provide a final feedback

It took another 3-4 days, bombarding troll box admin and opening 3 tickets per day, and leaving note on past tickets after new opened. Issue was resolved, Level 2 verification gained.

i think i've been waiting about 6 weeks now. other people said they were approved within a few hours but i don't know when that was. their user numbers are exploding along with their technical problems. i presume they don't have the people to address this stuff right now.

Well, let's hope it's just technical and logistical issues. The mounting number of problems, from lag, stop-limits offline, reported withdrawal/verification delays and tickets going unanswered makes me nervous.

If you think that someone at Poloniex is dedicated to deal with old support tickets you are wrong, there is usually huge pile of old cases, and no one touches.
There is nothing you can do beside bombarding them with new tickets, mails and questions. Of course make it 100% civil and professional, demanding or arguing will get you nowhere.


Agree. There is no other choice but to wait. 2 months is too much honestly but they are in control of here. Really sucks.

People must send multiple follow ups even they are already mad at the current system. Sending them sarcastic or heated messages won't help and will just result for being ignored even they already read your concern. So even we are fully angered at the system just tried to keep them sending message with a cool head.

Just copy paste the previous concern in the new ticket.

He was last active in April but if he visits the forum anytime, you'll get a faster response. I contact the exchange owners here itself as they don't respond to my tickets on time and it takes months for verification then.

Contacting him directly speed-up the process?
The last time he was online was a while ago, so he's unlikely to respond quickly.  I would think that Poloniex is up to their necks in people to handle since they've grown far too quickly without actually being prepared, so you'd be lucky to get a response (not to mention that for some suspicious reasons  they're extremely reluctant to process withdrawals on time).  

Still, always worth dropping him a PM.  You might get lucky.

Just in continuation, after one hour I asked j33hopper why he banned me, he said that I was spamming, so I asked him:


j33hopper, its not spam when for a week here every day I ask one of yee why it takes 2 months to get level 2 verification, it goes to the 3rd already, thoughts?


I was asking him 3 times in interval of 2 mins as he was ignoring, after third time:

I haven't tried to verify my account there till now because i am ok with the daily limit they have for the unverified account. But few of my friends is also stucked with pending verification there and he have huge balance now stucked inside polo which he can't withdraw. I thought their level 2 verification only takes few days but 2 months  Roll Eyes I will suggest others to not have any balance in polo during verification.

if it wasn't verified yet, it won't be for a long time either. there currently are a lot of problems on poloniex and i am sure they are getting at least a thousand tickets per day of pissed off people who lost money, lost their balance, and a lot more problems.
the only thing you can do is wait or move on to another service.

I do this every day, and all I get in troll box is that they will ping support, this is it. Notes in submitted support ticket are ignored.

maybe you must write number youre ticket
or ping moderator in troll box wait until moderator answer youre question and give youre sollution
