I totally understand your frustration, but there is not much to do other than waiting for them to come through with a solution. Poloniex won't steal your funds, they have way too much to lose in order to pull that off.

The authorities can't do anything in this case because there has not been any fraudulent activity, it's purely incompetence and the lack of manpower to look into it in a timely manner.

Poloniex has stated (months ago) that they will employ more support staff, but it seems that the situation is just as bad as how it was before the acquisition by Circle, which is pretty unacceptable.

It's annoying as heck, but have patience.

Bitcoin FTW!
binance can freeze your money and ask about kyc even if the withdrawal amount is lower than 2 btc. it depend on their "risk management system" that tracks "suspicious" transactions and activity
It's still better than Poloniex in many ways, and I've been trading on their platform under the same IP and PC with withdrawals near 1BTC and I haven't been frozen as of yet or asked to do KYC. Decentralized exchanges are still your best bet for no verification even though they do have low volume compared to bigger exchanges- hopefully this changes in the future, because I see quite a bit of potential not yet unlocked in them.

It's a shame most of them aren't incredibly user-friendly and require users to have medium amounts of technical knowledge about crypto to use properly; if they were simpler, adoption would probably happen quicker.

I almost always avoid exchanges that use KYC and I haven't even taken a look at their exchange in ages even before they made KYC mandatory because they started turning to shit.

If you're looking for alternatives that don't require verification, Binance doesn't require verification unless you're withdrawing over 2BTC or something of the sort, and decentralized exchanges are another decent option. Both Binance and DEXes have pros and cons, but I still choose to use then because verification isn't a requirement.

Yes poloniex should be avoided for now as KYC is mandatory there and they want to track each and every dollar you send there to comply with their USA rules which is obviously one of the horrific. Even though Poloniex accept traders from all around the world, because they are based on US and to just make their government happy they are giving pain to all of the customers.

I have left them long time ago after they made KYC compulsory and had some problem with withdrawals (1week+ waiting).

What do you mean? Why are you contacting tether support?

If you have an issue with a transaction that is already on the blockchain and the problem is occuring on poloniex's deposit end, then you need to contact poloniex support. The link is already posted by Thirdspace above. Contacting tether support will do absolutely nothing, they do not regulate the bitcoin blockchain.

Contact poloniex support, ask them what the problem is, provide all screenshots and TXIDs of the incoming transaction. They're very inefficient as a support group, yes, but they will get back to you eventually given that you persist. Definitely could take a while depending on where the problem is, e.g. if you deposited to the wrong wallet then it could take months to retrieve that coin, or even impossible to.

Are you sure that you have sent the coins to the right wallet within poloniex? I.e., are you sure that you clicked on the deposit button for USDT, and not BTC or another asset that is based on the bitcoin network?

Usually, when people have issues with USDT deposits, it's because of them depositing to the wrong wallet altogether. If that's the case, your only hope would be poloniex support sorting it out for you. It's going to be a really long process.

If not, then it's very strange that it doesn't automatically show up. You'd just have to wait for the support, which is notoriously slow on poloniex even though the Circle buyout did happen (you could tell by the 1 week delay). There is no way of "officially" launching a complaint. Regardless of what really happened with your deposit, it's very unprofessional to ignore any customer of yours especially on such a large deposit for such a long time without any response. That's why a lot of users have moved away from poloniex altogether.

the best you can do is to contact support by filling a report on your problem and... wait for response

hello
I have a problem with my poloniex account, my KYC is OK since 4 months upto 25k a day,  I send +/- 6000 USDT to my usdt wallet in poloniex , althought the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, althought everything is correct, it does not show up on my account , I filled a support ticket with proof of sending and proof that the transaction was confirmed on the blockchain network... now 1 week ago and nothing...
I bought 20 usdt coins on my wallet 4 days ago because i taught that maybe my wallet wasn t activated... I m really stressed...
Do they have a support Poloniex?
Did they steal my coins?
What is happening I do not know and I getting very worried....
Where can I file an official complained against this corruption by an exchange or does anyone have an idea what to do.
Thanks for info
