Polymath token is another FREE token which people can obtain by completing their survey. Securities on the Blockchain continue to be a difficult and legally      it just me or their airdrop was the easiest I've ever been a part of? Shocked Also, did anyone see in their telegram group that their platform launches in 20 days or ...

I actually think this airdrop will be very successful. It looks like they have a very professional team and a really great product. It's an interesting marketing move

An interesting approach to an airdrop.  Get all our info - and we hope for the best.  Let's hope the coin does some good things.

I fill on this too and I see that they have a nice project.

Wow,  can I get their link

Go back to page 1, it's given there.

I joined it too, but you needed to provide them a lot of details about you; email, address (if i am not wrong)
Phone number, telegram ID, and a lot of other things.

The Address and the name are the most important things of that, i filled it up with fake details, i do not want to tell anyone in where i live on or what is my name!:

There is no way I will be giving out very personal information for free just because a project looks very good on paper.

Then if someone pays you to know your personal info then you would agree on it?

You have filled the form right? I'ts a win win situation, they have you in telegram (same goes for us) and they will pay you with their coins, it's not for free that's what I mean.

Would be good if someone from Polymath could explain why KYC/AML is needed for an airdrop. In the telegram channel they they it's needed to ensure that only real persons will receive the tokens and no bots.

I only can think of they'll be sure that someone can't register with multiple accounts and receive numerous airdrops.

I am not giving out my KYC information to some random airdrop. Damn that's retarded.
You are damn right. That looks like total SCAM to me designed for only one thing:

They're collecting KYC/AML information to register on exchanges with it and sell accounts.

Why all other airdrops do not need that info?

I qoute 1000%!!
An airdrop is an awesome idea, liking on social, sharing on telegram and email it is all ok, but sharing the KYC informations for an airdrop is simply crazy, sorry
I agree, their previous plan to distribute the airdrop only to adresses with some transaction history was better.

thats bad ideao too... I am using exchanges only, created myetherwallet for trying only...
Second i want my girlfriend participating in ICO, and just created an etherwallet for her with no transactions atm

I have read their whitepaper. It said that "Enables individuals to authenticate their identity, residency, and accreditation status to participate in a wide pool of security token offerings (STOs)." I think it is good for ICOs future. I have join the airdrop today and wait their confermation email.

They updated the FAQ:
Quote
1. You will NOT receive an email confirmation when completing Airdrop survey.
2. Polymath is not conducting an ICO.
3. You Can NOT use exchange wallets for the Airdrop. We recommend using a wallet created at www.myetherwallet.com
4. If you made a mistake you can RE-DO the survey.
5. Tokens will be distributed in late JANUARY.
6. You CANNOT buy Polymath tokens at this time.
7. Every person who successfully completes the KYC/AML process will receive 250 POLY.
8. If you applied to the Airdrop survey multiple times, we will use only the most recent wallet address that you submitted.

They said in the announcement that there won't be any emails.  I think they got a bigger than expected response, so you will have to pursue them and not the other way around.  The KYC process will go live tomorrow - don't forget to do it!

"AIRDROP ANNOUNCEMENT:

(from Telegram if anyone missed it)

We will be airdropping a total of 10,000,000 POLY tokens and you can claim yours very soon! We are giving a maximum of 250 POLY tokens per person, and once the 10,000,000 cap is reached, no more will be given out.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR TOKENS:

Due to the unprecedented interest in the Polymath Airdrop (40,000+ applications from around the globe), we’ve greatly increased the amount of tokens we’re giving away. To fairly oversee this initiative we are requiring that each Airdrop participant completes a Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money Laundering (KYC/AML) process. This way, we can ensure that only real Polymath platform users receive tokens (instead of bots) which allows us to be more generous in the amount we’re distributing. Additionally, by completing the KYC/AML process, you’ll be automatically on-boarded to the platform and one step closer to purchasing securities tokens!

To complete this final step of the Airdrop, we will be providing the link for the KYC/AML process in TWO DAYS.

This KYC/AML portal will only remain open until January 17th! Tokens will be distributed to eligible participants on January 24th. The tokens will then be yours to use to interact with the Polymath platform."
