these guys have not been around long enough to understand what these types of business do to bitcoins image. Arguing with people who have been around for less then a year to see the evolution of bitcoin is pointless.

The evolution of bitcoin does not take place in the gambling section of bitcointalk.org

Prove the majority of forum members agree with you, then I'll stop saying you're wrong. You're just making that up.

I see a small handful of people complaining about ponzis here, but I see hundreds of people playing them.

+1

I do not like ponzis very much but I will like it if a few people continue to cry and scream all over the forum.

+2

Ponzis are just like any other gambling game in this section. I don't see why it should be treated as anything else. Why doesnt OP cry about dice games, casinos, mine games and so on? Ponzis are gambling too, simple as that.

Just keep mooing with the heard of ponziers, people tried warn people about MT.Gox people tried to warn people about BCST but the herd just MOOOOO's and does not care as long as they get paid until.

Then all the tears start to fall

And first, please save the 770k BTC from MtGox if you are looking for a hobby.

And then you can cry like a baby about Ponzi sites.

I agree give them a subsection, but since the admin of this site as seen fit to not do nothing to move them.

Haveing Ponzi's, HYIP's, and other such scams in the same section as gambling, clouds peoples minds and judgments who are new to the bitcoin world.

IT IS HORRIBLE FOR THE FACE OF BITCOIN

If you think they're okay and just need a subsection why would you want to report the operator to their website host for 'illegal activies' and potentially cause them alot of trouble.

This it the kind of ruthless action that's horrible for the face of bitcoin. Bitcoin is about letting YOU be in control of your money, we don't need to be policed by a couple of forum members.

I'm having fun playing some of these ponzi games. Won 5/5 so far. Was going to deposit in some others but after examining the deposit patterns decided not to, and was right because they ended/reset soon after. Why are you trying to ruin my fun?

This might actually work specially with "GoDaddy" host one.
I think there should be a section of ponzi and not in the gambling section but regarding there presence, that's up to ""investors"" to decide.

You got me pegged guy  Roll Eyes, why such a die hard protector of ponzi? got something to lose?

I wasn't a 'die hard protector of ponzis' until people showed up posting crap like this thread in the gambling forum.

And no, I have nothing to lose.

Exactly. While most ponzis here are blatant scams hosted on free hosting and domains like wix and whatnot, there are many that are legitimate and there is a good chance you can profit from them. What you actually need to be careful of are sites which don't admit to being a ponzi scheme like leancy, roinvest, btc arbs, and all other hyips that promise a payout to everyone.

Finally, someone with a brain.

I wasn't a 'die hard protector of ponzis' until people showed up posting crap like this thread in the gambling forum accusing anyone and everyone of being a scammer if they run a ponzi game or take part in one.

And no, I have nothing to lose.

I've played these ponzi games only 5 times and got paid 5 times. Yes they are definitely a scam.

This is a gambling forum not 'report a site forum'

Also why are you not listing sites such as leancy which actually try to deceive?

Would it be because you just want to take action against forum members to try get a response from them?
