I'm wondering how the logic of this works.
A friend of mine is #14, and he's in for 70k, so a 77k payout.
If I add up all the deposits after him, it comes to 243381.03897516. Even if I take out 5% for the house's cut, that's still 231211.9870264020.
I know it's "systematic" but it still needs to make sense logically.

It does make sense logically, but only if you approach it logically Smiley

This is how to do the math:
All deposits - All payouts - 5% of all deposits = Current Remaining Balance (which is 45120.03897516 at the time)

Will next round start 30 minutes after this one again? Comment at the top of the page says that, but maybe that only applied to yesterday.

Yep it will start 30 minutes after end... I am thinking how to make it more clear!

Going to keep the minimums the same for now.

The game will start 30 minutes after the end of this one... there will be a timer.

It's really early to call it, but I agree on it feeling like that.

I thought it was a good idea, but now that I can see how it plays out, I'm not sure. We're all afraid to put anything in, since most of us missed the boat.
I put in a tiny amount anyway, assuming I'll lose it, but I still won. Others are probably thinking the same thing.
For those of you not wanting to play, just try a tiny amount, you might be surprised.
If the goal is to reduce the volume, to discourage people putting in the max deposit, this might do that.

Ok we can try with 50K max .... and known start times... the ads are running so there is alot of new people coming

random = few players = high risk = no play

It would be nice to have some kind of time window for when the round will start so I'm not just mashing F5 all day. Smiley

Just started!

random is for start, not for end the game

Random end time would certainly be more like a real ponzi. Smiley I don't know what impact it would have on the game though, if it turns people off then its obviously bad.

Hm... I have not thought of random start times and end times... not sure that would work

Yeah you sure got me with the random time, I was completely unprepared. Good job though, I think it will help give more people a chance to win, which is better for everyone.

So right now it says next round in about 23 hours, will the next one start after that, or anytime and I should ignore the countdown timer?

Whats with #41-#51 getting paid while #14-#40 don't?

Paid last 10 shibes out of own pocket because one greedy shibe with 200K held up the line!

Also trying random starts with little warning to  see if it will change dynamics a bit!

I'm not positive I understand, but if you're pointing at a transaction in the blockchain that won, but appears to be late, then I can answer that one. The time you see on dogechain is when it makes it into the blockchain, ponzidoge works off the time the transaction is seen on the network (0 confirmations). I say that because when the round starts, a few second later and you'll see a whole buch of deposits, there's no way it is checking the blockchain if it sees things that quickly.

Thanks for answering this! Thats exactly right!
