problem with pool
cannot connect

"am3" was DDOSed from thousands of different IPs. Modified software to ignore this BTC address and hopefully it's ok now.

Please make sure to always specify backup pool on the command line, so that your rigs are never out of work in such situations.

Thanks

All my rigs are showing high rejects.

Is the anything wrong with sf3 node?

A few rigs now starting to swing to am3 server.

Am I the only one having this problem?

Please investigate.

Im also getting lots of reject or stale job, or no job for X minute on am3, please check.

Also is there a page where you can see your payouts ? or you always have to rely on the blockchain ?

OK, I'm investigating. But the statistics is fine, blocks are found, etc. Also, my own rigs are mining on sf3 just fine. I'll keep a close watch...

Thanks for reporting!

Hello! Sorry about this. I updated the website to point to sf3 / am3.
sf / am are currently pointing to the old X11 pool that is being retired.

Statistics is updated every 10 minutes.

Update: problem should be fixed now!

Keep on mining, I'll compensate for the lost 5 hours in next payment cycle.

Sorry about this.

Thanks!

Can you describe the problem and the resolution taken today?

I think it help because being transparent in these matters, it will assure your members that this site is the real deal.

Thanks

Note: I have redirected all my GPU rigs to the pool. Appreciate the good gesture of compensation for the 5 hour downtime.

Sure, the problem was the new format of transactions in Monero. So the node-cryptonote-util was just crashing and could not decode any of the new blocks. https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool/issues/130

PS: I paid all miners that had rigs pointed to my pool during the blackout as if they were mining. So the average daily payout should stay constant.

Thanks for the report and compensation.

Once in a while, I see stratum disconnects error messages, is this something to worry about?

Currently, I am using sgminer 5.5.4 (Linux) for RX480s and claymore XMR miner v9.7 (Windows) for non-RX GPUs.

Note: due to 5 hours downtime, all miners that were mining on the pools before the problem, are getting extra 20.83% (5 hrs out of 24). Sorry for this again.
Good!) If you continue to go as well, I recommend a heap of people.)

There is a question - what will advise difficulty installing depending on hashrate rigs? For example, some difficulty to put the rig in 3 KH/s - 25,000 or 100,000 ?

Hi!

I'd go for 10,000 or 25,000.

100,000 is only good for big farms and hired hashrate.

Thanks
