Yes, for a small pool like us it takes a bit longer to find a block.

On the pool stats page you can currently find the following statistics:

Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network)    1 minute 5 seconds
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool)    120 hours 26 minutes 35 seconds
Est. Shares this Round                    69211458 (done: 92.63%)

This means the whole network needs about a minute to find a block which is the normal block rate for dogecoin.
Our pool with only 10 MH/s needs about 120 hours on average to find a block. We have been mining since sunday with speeds over 1 MH/s so we are now at about 92% of that first round.

I have seen a pool with 10x of our hashrate not finding a block for over 40 hours. The next block took them just a few hours. Its all about luck in the end.

Bigger pools find blocks more often but the block payout is split between hundreds of miners. There you might get 500 doge/day. In a small pool that finds a block every 10 days you might get 5000/doge every 10 days. In the end it evens out.

Getting more miners into the pool certainly helps with finding blocks faster.

If we are extremely unlucky it might take another few days to find a block. That's why we will increase the block finder bonus once we hit 100% shares for this round to keep things interesting.

Also we lowered the auto payout minimum to 500 doges. We don't want to hold on to your coins once we find a block! Withdraw as often as possible or set up auto-payout!

The other pool I saw is at over 300% of shares for their round and no block for 40 hours with over 100 MH/s pool speed.

So yes, if we reach the 100% without finding the block we will increase the block finder bonus!

We are at about 36% shares of the current round. Just saw another pool, at 180%...such bad luck.. wow..  We might increase the block finder bonus if we even hit 100% projected shares for this round to spice things a little bit up 

The Pool is hashing smoothly at about 10 MH/s is and about 28.5% into the first round.

We'd rather give back to the miners who take the risk mining with a new pool than spending the funds on advertising.

The 10k Doge block finder bonus stays for at least the first few blocks. so it will stay a while. Maybe the first 10 or so. 

wow this is a very great offer with this kind of offer many would definitely think it's worth mining here than elsewhere

It is for real.  We would love to find our first block and then a few more. So we set up the pool and set the block finder bonus to 10k doge. Lets see what happens 

If this succeeds we have lots of plans for the future
