If you think it's degrading perhaps you need to take a closer look at yourself, you are not the judge of what's right, wrong, and what's degrading. In fact I think porn should be encouraged, I think it makes them look more majestic and pure, so by that reasoning we should promote 'whorism' and make more porn!.... from your seat it must be a good thing that im not in charge of the world, just like im glad ignorant people like you aren't either.

The issue has nothing to do with what two consenting adults are doing.  The issue is how pornography affects society's perception of women.  If pornography promotes violence against women (something some people claim and have studies to support), then what those two consenting adults do on film very much affects ALL women.

It doesn't matter what third parties think about interactions between two consenting adults.

It sure as shit does when it potentially increases rape and battery rates, affects workplace treatment, general social treatment, societal perception, etc.

Personally, I think pornography is wrong and degrading to women

But women also watch porn. Why would they watch something that's degrading to them?

Because "women" are a diverse group that do not all share the same opinions on everything, believe it or not.  Some like it, others do not.  Some like certain porn while they dislike other types of porn.  The world is not black and white, try hard to understand that.

I wonder how someone who doesn't watch porn can say that "pornography is degrading to women" ...how can he even "know" that?

not everyone finds it offensive, you shouldnt lay your hang ups on other people.

personally, i find anti abortion rallies offensive, but i dont feel the need to berate the people who choose to participate in them...

in my country, porn is protected by free speech, as it should be....my suggestion is to get over it and live your own life instead of worrying about other peoples lifestyles.

Meanwhile, this above is your addition to the debate. Remind me again, whom is trolling whom?

If I'm going to be insulted then you can damn well be sure that I'll give you the same treatment. Can't take it? Don't dish it out.

Things like 'common sense' and 'facts' mean little in any argument with posters like bitcoin2cash or Immanuel, so there is little to do besides try to get a rise out of them for shits and giggles.

Get over it, whining hypocrite.

Because in reality porn is degrading to men and some women like it. You can see in the movies how women use the men to obtain sex and use them as sexual objects without worrying for their emotional needs. Its discusting how some women can do that to a man.

Don't be silly AyeYo...

That's like telling a leopard to change its spots. Yo-Yo is a trolling piece of shit and nothing will change that short of several extra IQ points or medication for whatever mental illness he has.

Cliffs:  Ironically, the capitalism worshiping libertard crowd knows nothing about business.

In a world without regulation, I bet the already established companies would buy everything out, destroy everything, while the libertard crowd keeps yelling for litigation, government action, and legal action against them.
Personally, I think bitcoin is already dead.

Don't be silly AyeYo Bitcoin is far from dead...

Bitcoin having things like "bitcoin porn" is not going to make it look better in the eyes of the general public.

Are you referring to posts here on this forum?  There no longer is an "official" forum for Bitcoin.  For now, links to the old domain still forward to their equivalents on this forum, but new posts and replies no longer get indexed from a bitcoin.org  domain.

There are other forums with different communities:

There likely will soon be a beta forum on Stack Exchange, as 94% of the needed "committments" have been reached:

There is sense in what you are talking about. But there is also much porn which promotes violence against men (some men like this). Does it affect society's perception of men? Is it good or bad?

I'm not making a judgment one way or another.  I just wanted to correct bitcoin2moron's inability to understand externalities and consequences of actions.

Personally, I'm of the belief that some porn does promote violence and/or a degrading outlook on women.  However, that's only SOME porn.  Definitely not all porn.  It's something that needs to be taken on a case by case basis.

Personally, I think pornography is wrong and degrading to women, and I don't like people who support it.

Whatever two adults want to do with each other is none of your business. If one adult wants to be paid money to pose for nude photographs and another adult wants to pay money to photograph someone nude, it's none of your damned business. Why would you think that what one woman does reflects on all women? They are individuals.

This couldn't be more wrong.  I know your small mind can't wrap itself around externalities, but try hard for a second...

So what? Anyone that can't tell the difference between a medium of exchange and the services that accept that medium of exchange, probably couldn't figure out how to use Bitcoin anyways.

Exactly the attitude I'm talking about.  "They don't think like me?"  Fuck 'em.

You're an outstanding businessman.
