I had lost hope in Verge a long time ago. Doug Polk's video is just on point, I'm starting to like him.
Verge's team had paid a lot, ~$10million for that deal. I dont really feel like this deal is going to change anything, all it was good for is a pump and dump. Also, a partnership in itself will not increase the price of the XVG, but the using of it could.

Verge has been dumped due to this bad partnership deal, good luck to hodlers after pornhub dump all their millions of verge coins into the market. Verge is going from bad to worse, better off looking at low market cap privacy coins instead.
This is Awesome partnership. This is history in Crypto world ! This is just like internet in 2000. Because porn at this time shape internet like we see now. ( look a like youtube platform or whatever) . At the moment, the community did not react well for the weak hand, but we will see a mass adoption soon or later, spread for other sector...and I am very bullish about it

The bigger problem is that no one paying right now is going to ditch their visa method when it is so hard to use verge. You need to buy bitcoin, which could take weeks if you use a site like Coinbase. You will need to pay fees, and then exchange the coins on an exchange like Bittrex which has fees. Then you need to transfer the coins to the ph address. Lets also hope that you bought enough bitcoin/ethereum to actually facilitate the trade. Its a pain. Cryptocurrency is not as easy right now, so it wont be used. Plus what is stopping ph from accepting bitcoin or ethereum directly?

Verge identifying with porn company is a big step that will affect the way people perceive and relate with Verge both now and in the future. Verge cryptocurrency will automatically lose and gain some business because of this decision .

Market 80% of the time buys the rumor and sells the news. Do not co-relate with the current dump to not-so-happy investors. We will only know the true sentiment after a while. In my opinion any payment adoption by any industry (Btw, Porn is $100 billion industry by 2020) is good for crypto. Should not FUD simply because you hate a particular coin. And I agree to the fact that this partnership could be actually 'bought' with the funds they raised. Which in my opinion is not sustainable. Overall I think this is good for the entire crypto provided verge blockchain remain secure and no more loopholes are exploited publicly.
