Lack of regulation is the answer you are looking for.

This is a wise move. we should be vigilante. There's many of such projects around us. Thank you for creating awareness to the entire public. I don't understand why scammers go free and unpunished.

[UPDATE 12/8] Today I will show you how scammers are trying to manipulate this topic and I'm sure they are trying the same with other conversations. As you can see they are both online the second one answer almost immediately, and they have nearly the same activity. Let's take a look at their profiles.... Check their posts:

As you can see on your own they both have the same style of writing and they use the same phrases (probably they copy-paste them and change a few things). So what they are trying to do? They are encouraging people to look pornx's telegram profile and persuade them that this project is still active. BE CAREFULL !!!!

[UPDATE 11/8] I'm preparing a lawsuit and I sent an email to Marcello Milteer, Pornx advisor about some information I need from him. Here is what I wrote:

****** again, early investor of PORNX, etc. As I have informed you in a previous email I'm preparing a lawsuit but I need more information about you. As I can see in your Linkedin Profile you live in Austin, is this true? I'm asking because as my lawyer informed me every state in America has a statute setting time limits for when you can file certain types of cases. Marcello Milteer is your legal name? Of course once I file my lawsuit, I will give you legal notice as you are the defendant.

My name is ******* and I am an early investor of PORN_X ICO. Unfortunately, this project is a well made scam and you have participated in it, although you worked as an advisor. Acording to their site: https://porn-x.com/ you promoted this project and you said that you are very excited about this' etc. People including me trust your reputation and invest in this project. As a result, I have lost 1k dollars in this fraud. You may think that this is a small amount of money but for me is a month salary. I want to inform you that I have already informed FTC and SEC about this project and the participants of it(team members, advisors who promote it etc.) as 'Suspected Security Fraud or Wrongdoing'. They are aware of the situation since the 8th of July. Progress has be made so now I can speak publicly. I have contacted a lawyer and I want to inform you that -for now- you (Marcello Milteer) are the only person we have confirmed you identity. I am preparing a legal remorse for you and acoarding to my lauyer I can accuse you because you promoted frauds by taking advantage of your reputation. I will not withdraw prosecution until I get my money back from you or generally from someone involved in this project."

I suspect that developer was never there at all. They bought their white paper and they copied some code from other projects that use Github.

Definitely true. When someone is interested about an ICO must do a dip down research not only on its white paper but also on people that been involved, their profiles on Social Media, reputation, background etc. In this case, I decided to invest on this project due to their advisor Marcello Milteer (https://twitter.com/mojincello,https://www.marcellomilteer.net/contact/) who is known from 'The Bitcoin Podcast'. Unfortunately, he is so unprofessional as I wrote past week.

And it's natural, because all these 3 sites make ratings for projects for money! Who can hold them accountable for this and under the laws of which country?

It's a pity that the project turned out to be a scam. Developers from Singapore, and the meaning of the project though any was. So the developer was very cunning and deceived all 

i had some scams aswell and i lost round about 700$ i would say. But to be honest there is not much you do most of the time. You need to track down the scammers which is very costly

If this is a scam. What can I do about the token I received? just throw away?

Losing some money 

It is ridiculous that we have such amount of scams on market. In one-two years investors will lose confidence in ICO and cryptocurrency industry.

It's so sad to see how people are been scammed of their hard earn money, this is reason why it is strongly been advised to always do your research when investing in an ICO, don't be moved by their offers or their beautiful website or white paper, do a dip down research, I believe if you had done your research, it won't have been like this.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I want to say that you are not stupid because someone scammed you. These people must be assamed. Anyway, I hope this is a good lesson for you. I hope you didn't lost much money on this scam. Don't trust projects like these anymore.

I was proboked by your post and I have just registered.
I am one of the "stupid" investors. I was not experiencced enough. It was clear to me already in May/June that this is a scam.
They havent responded to my emails and when I copied link to ths thread to Pornx's Telegram they kicked me out.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, not so many believe me and they are keep following this scam. I can't believe that I didn't receive any messages from other investors so far. They haven't understand yet that they have lost all their money!!
