Coins have been sent, I'm not entirely sure the messages are working because I got your messages but my reply didn't show up in my outbox.

outbox is only if you checked the save this message to my outbox or wtv before you sent it

All right, be on the lookout for a message, both of you. (May not be until later today as I'm in Prepare for Work Mode right now)

Rebuilder has paid for and received his Portal 2 preorder. But both copies of the original Portal are still up for grabs!

Portal is a fantastic game and well worth the price. I realize people are probably holding onto their BTC right now, hoping for their value to rise to earlier levels, so I'll make the following offer.

Portal: 10.00 BTC per copy! At the current exchange rate that's more than half off the standard price, and even at dollar parity it's about 33% off.

If you're interested, post here to claim a copy and I will send you a payment address. Payment up front, please; Rebuilder will vouch for my honesty if you ask him.

(You might suspect I'll go lower still if you wait long enough, since these copies have no intrinsic value to me. So I am precommitting now: this is my final offer. I will never make a lower one.)

Okay, Portal 2 goes to rebuilder!

To anyone reading this who hasn't played Portal yet, I really can't recommend it enough. It's easily the best Steam purchase I've made yet. It's the reason Portal 2 will be the first game I've ever pre-purchased, in fact.

You can't transfer games, but if the OP buys the pack he'll have a gift pass, which should work anywhere, and is redeemable directly through steam or through an email.

I'll bite on Portal 2. Have BTC on hand.

EDIT: this is assuming it can be transferred to an account in Finland. How's Steam with that these days?

If he just got into it, my question would be whether he actually has 40 BTC to buy it with. But I guess you could always loan or sell them to him.

If you can get him to say "Yeah I'll do it," I'll consider him first-come at that point.

I have a friend that just got into bitcoin business today, AND he's looking for someone to buy Portal 2 with.
If you hold on about 12-24 hours, I'm 99% sure he'll buy it.

Can you hold this for me for this period of time?

Heh, I'd so do this if:
a) I had money
b) I had gotten around to converting some of that money into BTC
c) I hadn't already made a pact with my brother to go in on a Portal 2 double purchase once condition (a) is met

But just a vote of confidence that there are people out there who would probably be interested in this offer.
