Positive news do impact the market positively and negative news do impact the market negativity. I think  IMF Chief comment has impacted the market since last week.  Illiquid assets markets work on emotions and our emotions are always control by what we hear either from social media or televisions. I think and we should hope that we would ever be having positive comments and news about bitcoin and others coins so that investors will be motivated to put in good money.
Yes that is right that both positive and negative news have their impact on bitcoin. in previous days when we hear about that China banned ICOs such news really effected the price of bitcoin too much and the price fell down to 3000$, similarly before this when the news about Japan acceptance of bitcoin as legal currency spread out in the market it also effected the price of bitcoin too much and the price of bitcoin skyrocket and reach to 5000$, so we can see that both good and bad news have their impact on the price of bitcoin.

Positive news for bitcoin do not last longer. I think the price has stabilized because of Amazon trying to implement it as a direct payment system to their website rather than GoldMan Sachs predictions or International Monetary Fund telling us that cryptocurrencies can be the future. I am patiently waiting for good news from the direction meeting of Amazon and if they do implement it for real, we can see bitcoin surpass 5000 usd mark during Christmas time.
Amazon has not really come out to give affirmation on its integration to the Amazon's website and it has been tagged as a rumor and even if positive news don’t last, it usually drives it up to some extent and thereby increases the support to a very good level.

However, there is still hope about goldmansach, even though the CEO says it is still being thought about. Just those tiny little words can mean a lot to the market positively. Let us see how it goes though.

Some rumor that China already planning to bring back btc, they already see that btc were not dependent on them and it can keeps growing even without them, and they don't want to missed it so they will be back for sure with lot's of btc stored in them.

It's just the Chinese government attempting to buy time and at the same time halt Bitcoin's growth, till they come up with a proper way of strictly regulating this market. I too believe that Chinese exchanges will be back and fully operational again at some point, it's just a matter of time. I would love to see this market move fully on its own, steered by nations contributing with actual growth such as Japan and South Korea. China doesn't contribute with anything other than problems and other negativity - how long are people still willing to add value to such a nonsense country (nonsense country in crypto terms)? Who knows where we could be standing today without China interfering each time, think about that.

I've just been doing my daily crypto news reading and lately i've been seeing all positive news for BTC.

*Goldman Sachs CEO thinking about bitcoin
*Japan accepting more bitcoin in retail and starting more exchanges
*IMF chief says bitcoin and virtual currencies could be the future

So im pretty confident these all contribute to the recent increases in valuation and with the steady growth of bitcoin adoption over time it seems like there is nowhere to go but up.
Do you think now still a good time to invest or has the news already been priced in?

Exactly! that is what I am believing since I started doing this Bitcoin thing, FUD's are everywhere and you can stop it no matter what you do especially when people started to panic sell their holdings in bitcoins that will really affects the price. Last month there is a FUD's about this Jamie Dimon and China and bitcoin's price really reacts to it because of people that did the sells.

And right now it is slowly climbing again because there is no concrete proof that the said issues is affecting Bitcoin, there is an another event that will surely affects bitcoin's price and that is the implementation of Segwitx2 and I am sure that there is an another shake in the price of it and there is a tons of FUD's will be spread again, it is just a matter of trust in Bitcoin and believing what is true or not.

The inside pink papers for the China government have said that the whole time. I cannot quote it here on my phone, but it was a comment to the effect of, "To test and verify the integrity of both the financial network and community, we are initiating rolling test bans."

Remember my words here, even if we are hearing out news china backing out of china, but believe me they will be involve in bitcoins more strongly than before. Just wait and see.

They can still go back in the ecosystem if they want to. Maybe they are what to show that can control bitcoin, but that's not the case. So if they can't beat them, join them. Maybe next year we can see some semblance that the Chinese government will allow ICO's once more and allowing their exchanges to be operational once more, but this time with a new set of regulations. If this scenario happens then bitcoin price will surely pick up and we can only speculate that the price could go higher that $6000. Let's see if our predictions will come true.  Smiley

One of the most positive news about Bitcoin that I've read is that Japan introduces eleven Bitcoin exchange sites. I think it contributed a lot on stabilizing Bitcoin price. And I also think that it has a great impact on other countries that has doubts about Bitcoin. There might be some other countries that will soon follow Japan's lead in accepting Bitcoin.

I think this is really important news. And the course can really stabilize. The Japanese market is incredibly large.

But as soon as the volume of the market grows, Japan will begin to regulate bitcoin. Since there will be various negative effects from the use of bitcoin, and they will be regulated.

Due to the recent ICO banning in China, it significantly affected the price of bitcoins and investors from the country. The news about Japan on introducing bitcoin exchange sites will definitely have a positive side on bitcoin regarding its price because more countries now are accepting bitcoin as a medium of exchange for their country. We all know that Japan, being one of the developed countries in the world, has the potential of maximizing the benefits provided by bitcoin through the exchange sites created. I speculate that 2-3 months from now, expect prices of bitcoin to increase, thus making this a GO SIGNAL on investing right now.

I think the most important news is the news from Japan.

But my interpretation is different. The payment market is important. And this is an important time for investments in projects that will help develop bitcoin infrastructures. Because they are in demand.

Positive or negative news will always affect in which direction price will go,we are just overwhelm with news from any media. Many of news which have connection to BTC or any other cryptocurrency is just a FUD(fear, uncertainty&doubt) released to the public to create panic or just to make some coin look bad at a certain point.Media can be and it is very powerful tool for manipulation,in case of BTC this has been proven many times, and we all wish that is more good then bad news in future.

I guess most people are collecting bitcoins before the fork so they can collect bitcoin gold after it - that's why the price is going upward. Somehow I get excited to sell my btc at this point, however, I may not get to have a chance to buy back before October 25.

Most positive news resides in a fluffy and fuzzy far off future. The bad news almost always affects everyone instantly. I think the only time I've seen positive news have an immediate effect was during some senate hearing in late 2013 when they started making positive noises. The price jumped a couple of hundred dollars, but it was probably looking for an excuse anyway.

Yup, bitcoin has overcame the bad situation regarding ico and china last month and started to climb back. But i predict there will be another bad news or fud later when we are near the fork date. It's always a good time to invest if you want to hold it for some time as bitcoin is strong right now and will have a great future.

If you want to hold your bitcoin for more than a year or so than current price can still be a good buy point but I would suggest you to atleast wait for a week or so because some correction on price looks possible in near future if you just want to trade bitcoin for short term profit.

What you are telling is true but what i can suggest is try to buy in split like if you want to buy 1 btc then you can start with 20% now and if their is more fall then you can buy more 20% so like this your buying price will also get averaged and on rise you can be in profit with immediate.

Hope this will actually becomes the reality and government notices this. Japan already undertook big transition for their country people and same must be done by rest of the world. This will then actually affect the bitcoin in real way and making it more valuable.

Goldman Sachs and all would be like another big investor and nothing much. The will do fluctuate the market of bitcoin but that again will be working lik normal bitcoin. We need extraordinary move, like I said government thinking about the bitcoin. !

There is trouble abrewing
They're just telling the truth Smiley) But beside these guys there are some guys like JPMorgan Chase CEO tried to dump the Bitcoin price to buy at lower price just by telling some wrong things about Bitcoin and made people afraid about it. For me, I don't waste my time to care about this case much although they said the truth or not I just believe in Bitcoin and I believe that it can easily get to 10k$ soon Smiley
many people are intimidating against bitcoin price movements. but it never hurts to keep believing in yourself. do the analysis at any time because we can not always rely on others. others usually also want to take advantage and they make other people's minds go wrong. this is to be avoided as JPMorgan has said, he panicked many people with his words.

i don't really see anyone being intimidated by bitcoin. they are wolves in sheep clothing who have seen the potential of bitcoin and their wolfish smiles are showing their teeth, white and sharp.
as we already saw one sign of it, one of the biggest one is already involved in bitcoin to the neck and is making a lot of money with manipulating market.
